well there doesnt really seem to be any oil on the hood or on the belts so i dont think its the oil pump gasket (plus that already went the first time i started the new motor lol) how could i tell about the cam seals tho? and how hard is that to fix?nevermind im a retard, its all under the car...
so noticed oil on the driveway yesterday when i got home so i figured i would check my oil today... the dipstick was dry and when I jacked up the car theres oil EVERYWHERE under the car, all on the drivers side and i guess more behind the motors... anyone have a clue as to what blew out? he car...
where does that go exactly? basically what im doing in bypassing the coolant hoses to the turbo and i want to do it as easily as possible so i was hoping that goes straight to the turbo... and yes i know that it is a bad idea but i have my reasonings, thanks in advance guy
not the one on top of the turbo, there are 2 spots on the front (facing the radiator) one above the other, the above one is attached but the bottom part is open and im not sure what goes there and theres no hoses or anything around it...
hey guys, so i looked at my car and the front nut for the coolant is just plain missing... idk if its the one for the line or if its just a plug but coolant just POORS out of the turbo if someone had a detailed pic of the turbo in or out of the car it would be a HUGE help cause the line above it...
hey guys so i was working on my car last night and i took off the radiator cap (2g gst) and antifreeze started pooring out of the front of the turbo (the side facing the radiator) does anyone know what goes there? I know its a stupid question but i just cant remember for the life of me. Thanks...
yea it has to be the bov, but how do i fix it if its not the adjustment? its raining right now and im at work so i cant check until later but i'd like to know what else to do incase...
im going thru a divorce and i dont have any of my tools right now, just some basic stuff, but i think its the bov because its the same sound as when the bov goes off
so when i drive my car and i hit boost it sounds like the bov is whistling under boost and then just a little louder when i let off... any ideas? its a greddy bov im not sure what kind (its silver with blue where the recirc hose goes over it) do i need to adjust it or something or is it bad?
new battery and terminals, idle air control is a possibility i didnt even think about it, and i did a boost leak test but i just rebuilt the turbo so i should probably redo that, thanks guys. If this rain feels like stopping I'm gonna go try this stuff out
