    read everything i posted..... i had to relief cut it to get the head flange mount bolt holes to line up again. i had to add material to the head flange because after milling it was to thin. so when i welded another 1/4" of material on the sealing surface it distorted way to much to where it was...

    thanks..... i can hold my hand about 10" out from the puddle and keep steady. this was with 3/32" rod dipping and moving fast but not cramming rod by any means.mikemore pic of the build process..... it does have stacks in the floor......mike

    well with the 1/16" rod i have to dip, wait for the it to heat up, fill and cap before moving on (because the larger rod cools the puddle) as if it were .045" or .030" rod i wouldnt have to as much. and i dont know what ## buddy is talking about its wrong unless he is talking about pulsing...

    ive got a digitial readout on my machine and use a foot pedal for throttle... and actually that was more around 35-38 amps or so as i was not into the pedal all the way while welding that.mike

    steady travel speed..... thats 3.5" diameter pipe. i was moving roughly 1-1.5" at a time. i only post flow for 10 seconds then move again. no cool to the touch here that would take way to long urban.mike
