That seems really low. I would make sure if there is no boost leaks. Unless that motor is really hurting. I just made 397hp and 410 on 20g. You have more stuff to work with than me. I am assuming you check transistor. Also you checked timing. Ignition with a timing light or the timing marks? You said ignitor there is fuel injector one and the transistor next to the coil pack.

Ok well line everything up and put the tensioner on last. Than pull the pin on the tensioner. rotate motor over with 1/2 drive ratchet and make sure everything is still lined up. Put everything together and enjoy your timing belt job you did

the vfaq is if you have the special tool great use it but if you don't then haynes way is perfectly fine. All it is pushing the tensioner down so you can remove it easier. If the tensioner is bad all I did was use a 14mm socket and put it on the tensioner pulley and used a pry bar to press down...

I dont really know how it can be worn. It has 4k miles and never slipped. Even when it let loose last night I didnt smell clutch or anything and it wasnt slipping. It held perfect and then something broke.

check boost leaks because I noticed its a slow spool. 5200 it should be full boost and i also noticed it taper off. Also check yours tps. I noticed it was 100% when you did a pull on 18 pounds.

I dont drive crazy dont really drive the car when it has only 65k orginal miles on it and its a 96:thumb: Just for cruises or car meets. Sounds good. Ill build a new downpipe with a high flow cat and call it a day. Might convert the car to awd before I head out there.

Check the cables and did you put new fluid in the trans to see what color or chunks come out. Before pulling it out have someone rock the car while stuck in gear and see if it will pop out. If it does could be a bad hub. Hope the best.

I wouldnt use fel-pro unless its there new one. I had one of the rings turn into a football shape. I heard good things about them but I cheaped out and got felpro and paid the price. Mitsu all the way.
