If this is the same one I bought then the problem was probably the wires going to the CAS. They were chaffed real bad and I had to cut them and re solder them with heat shrink and then secured them properly.

Save yourself some issue and make sure you get those plugs mentioned above. Again, if running higher boost like myself (22psi daily) then gap them smaller around .20 or so.

Well remove the alternator and take it to an autoparts store to be tested or if it's close enough, drive the car there and have them test it while the engine is running.

Pull your plugs and recheck the gap. I had this same issue.Also ensure that your MAF is clean.

Sounds like a lot of DSM owners who can't handle the car. They get tired and sell it for next to nothing to just be rid of it.Probably the coil pack. I'd buy the car and get to work.

Unplug the MAF and see if it acts any differently.

I'll make this real easy. If the part doesn't "fall" off then you missed a bolt. That thing literally falls off once you've gotten them all off so if it's stuck on then you missed one. Keep searching for it until you find it.

man they've told you so many times. Take off the timing belt cover! It's 10mm bolts.Take them out and leave the timing alone and then start it with no cover.
