I have an old set of Red Prothane motor mount inserts that I'd like to use on my current project, but they look dirty and I'd like them to look fresher.I tried cleaning a small spot with brake clean, but it didn't seem to phase the dirt. What cleaner have any of you had success doing this with?
I read about this mod in the forums (applied to a Mazda Miata) and decided it was worth a shot to try on my Talon. I've been driving on the modded rack and I like the feel, so I thought I would share how it's done. It's still diffucult to turn when not moving, but seems easier than other DSMs...
I'm working on a 94 Talon AWD. My neighbor asked me to look at it because the CEL came on. He said it seems to run and drive fine. Pulled a Code 43 (EGR) from the DLC with a voltmeter. Knowing this car should have a Federal ECU I pulled it out of curiosity. Found MD304484 a 94 Federal M/T...
After a short talk a few days ago and a long day at work, I pull up to the sight of "Clean Green" on my pad today. A truely beautiful DSM that has been out of action for years. When the 94 was around and running she kept it clean in her DSM glory, just the sight and sound of her. Now I'm...
Went out last night and snapped off a few shots of the DSM named Phoenix. Nothing special, just finally had time to get some pics with the freshly refinished wheels I had done a couple of weeks ago. The color is custom, called "Almost Black" basically you take black and dump in a large amount...
The new paint job is right around the corner and I still need to make a decision on the side skirts. I would like the roof, spoiler, and wheels to be Black. Body Dark Charcoal. The second option I would like to see is with the same Black roof and wheel combo except a Silver body, and the...

The first step to take when replacing your front control arm bushings is to make sure you have everything you need, this may include front sway bar end links. Especially if you have to cut the old ones off. Here pictured are the Energy Suspension front control arm bushing, the rear control...
To begin the seal replacement the Throttle Body must be removed from the intake manifold. You will see in the picture the connections I had to remove. They are the Throttle Cable, Idle Reset Switch connector, the Idle Speed Controller connnector, and the Throttle Posistion Sensor connector...
I have a 90 gsx with a second gear problem and a fourth gear crunch. I can put it into 2nd from first gear position only. I cannot downshift from third to second without going into the first gear position with the clutch in first, also it will not go into 2nd at all unless i time the shift and...
First time the track was open this year. I am a loser, some traction would help though. This has to be the worst slip on this whole site! My run is on top and in the lane next to me was a 440 cubic inch challenger six pack on street tires.R/T .918

I had an idle surge. I cleaned the throttle body and switched the coolant lines so they do not flow through the throttle body. I noticed the bottom of the TPS was loose so i tightened it up. I re-installed the throttle body and it still surged. BISS screw is good. No noticable vacuum leaks...
