What you can do is put a valve on your exhaust after the O2 plugs so you open it up at the track and it bypasses the muffler and cat so you basically have a strait pipe while on the track and when you want to take the car home, you close the valve and its street legal.Welcome to DMH Performance!

Yeah I'm talking about on top the reservoir cap where the hoses runs into the cap. its just constantly pushing out coolant through a hole. I'm wondering is the radiator cap should stop coolant from wanting to flow out the reservoir cap hole....

Well if you pressurize the system past what you run at and you don't hear leaks, you're good. If you have a leak you will hear it or see it with the water/soap solution.

For me, general rule of thumb....If its on there when i take it out or off, it needs to go back on.

Wow this thread has gotten off topic... OP- maybe your buddy is mistaking internals from an eagle (MOPAR) to be faster then Mitsu parts.......maybe the new parts are fixing the issue and making the parts feel faster. Simply put, the motors are Mitsu-made, everything else is mixed and matched.

I have the fidanza light weight flywheel, 2100 PP with a street disc. Hasn't steered me wrong yet in the last year. I would upgrade to a 2600 PP with maybe a 6 puck if your looking for a 350+ hp goal.

Have you tried taking the head down to the machinist to see what they recommend? Sometimes it looks worst than what it really is. They might be able to fix it for cheaper than it is to buy a rebuilt.
