I think it should be either an all talon/eclipse room or an evo room. If we try to mix it up, the evos will leave the DSMs in the dust, period.

If you are refering to the EGR, then that could also be your stalling issue. If your EGR is stuck open, it is dumping exhaust gasses back into the cylinders and killing your idle, causing your car to die. Well a picture would help the best here. Most ebay styles are pretty generic, I have one myself. Is the actual bar going over the oil cap or the coil pack? If properly installed it should go over the oil cap.

Well, you stated you have bad compression, start with a leakdown test. You are losing compression someplace. Best you can do is find the error and solve it. It might not have been your fault anyways, maybe you got a really bad batch of gas or something and clogged up the cylinder, who knows...
