Well, my buddy has a big-ass turbo on his SRT4, and with his J-pipe off, it kinda does sound like a supercharger. Still smokes AMG's with no problems to report.I don't know how useful this would be, seeing as the DSM and the SRT are 2 different animals, but I thought I'd give it a try.

SRT4's are sick. My friend has one that runs 11.90s (and he granny shifts) and it sounds killer. But you never get traction with those things...Doesn't bother me. I'd take an SRT4 with a GT3076R.

I don't see a problem there. the LS1's were first brought out in 1997. Sure, now its the LS2, but some technology from the LS1's are used in the LS2's, like the heads.Maybe they thought it was getting old, I don't know... anything's possible i guess.
