For a 1g AWD on street 700hp is more than you can use. 700hp on e85, on any of the new wonder turbo's, limit boost to 40psi = fun fun fun. Don't suggest you go for 1000hp $$$$ I am going for 1000hp after 12 years of 700HP and its actually a big step up.
L19 torqued to 110lbs......boost is 40 plus but WG at 39PSI for now.
Breaking new clutch at the moment .....don't want the HG to go during a full power dyno secession.......cams and compressor upgrade along with e85 flexfuel.. setup. requiring retuning.......was at 666hp uncorrected mustang...

On my second Felpro MLS ...While still sealing ,,,,it seems to be dissolving somehow..About 7000 kms on this HG , motor is about 10,000 kms.......Boost is 40 psi on dyno only, no 1/4 miler ...
Message from the shop reads "looks like one layer of the HG is pushing out".

Solution is having adequate oil pressure ,(don't like zero weight oil for bearing protection).. Bearing crush and bearing clearance...
For V8 motors I ran .003" bearing clearance...Not sure if this is too much for our...
Bad News!! I brought the cams to the local speed shops all agreed the cams are toast. I then bought the cams to Shadbolt Cams (a old and reputable cam grinder)
and they measured the damaged journals at .003 deep. Overall the damaged cam journals measured were .006 less in diameter than the non...

In my experience all DSM electrical issues are connection issues.
Clean and reinstall all connections in your engine compartment.
Run a full time volt gauge and ground everything.
or your will have part time electrical issues.

1g manifolds are famous for cracking and leaking.
Evo3 manifold if you don't want to port out a 2g manifold.
Should be tons of used ones around.If you must have tubular (some people just want them)
ignore the cheap ones or prepare to weld.
Shouldn't be knocking with 15psi and 11/1 AFR.
I find the dsm knock sensor too sensitive when used for knock counts.
I used the link to ignore knocks below 4000 rpm.
I believe 6 counts of knock is the safety region for our cars.My final solution for the knock sensor was AEM EMS

Get a noid test tester that has the extension so you can mount the noid light on the wipers.
Then you can see the light when cranking the engine from the driver's seat.
I blew the bottom two corners panels off my FMIC without even knowing it**.
I drove around for a couple more days before this discovery.
But my turbo doesn't boost during daily driving anyway (S366).
I have since sent my turbo in for servicing anyway .
Basically if your turbo isn't smoking...

Use meth/water injection to control knock..I use 100% meth but to each his own.
I have zero knock at 27 psi and 90 octane gas.
I know another Dsmer 474 HP 50trim @31 psi stock intake meth injection pump gas.
Our local tuner got 470 AWHP (Mustang Dyno)
with an bolt on 50 trim,, stock intake, 272 cams ,pump gas with meth..
There is some power to gain with a cheap tubular manifold over the EVO3 stuff.
I have a ported SBR manifold w/SBR-14 turbo...
I am changing the turbo to T3 ....(mitsu housing chokes)
Through cast manifolds are reliable....I'm into making horsepower.
