Oil pressure is normal at idle when it warms up, mine sees less then 10psi and im not worried at all, as for the ticking, most likely lifter tick... id only be worried if it left a cloud of smoke in the rear view, or its not holding boost.

just run the turbo from the oil filter housing instead of the head, even though fp recommends to run it from the head, i have ran mine from the oil filter housing for around six months now with no problem at all, just make sure you use the inline filter they have.

what would be the point in having a brand new setup, doing a light tune and driving it around on the street without one, why spend all that money and then cheap out on something so useful that can save you thousands of dollars if something were to happen.
