im hoping to get up there to 808 this fall will my fully supported hx40, so we'll see what i can squeeze out of the .55 housing. i wanted quicker spool as this car will see way more street time than track time.
I think i have drooled over Andre's car long enough, I'm going to pick up a set, but the 8.75 +20mmthe 9.75's poke just a bit too much for me in the back
tracking down the right 13" rotor that requires no modification is what we are all trying to do i guess. I originally bought these calipers to put on my 08 Grand Prix daily driver, because they bolt up with 14" gt500 rotors and no modification at all. After thinking about it, it would be a waste...
the car i tried them on actually got sold, and im picking up another gst on sunday, and brakes will be one of the first things i tackle, still have the fresh ctsv's sitting in the garage waiting for a car to be put on
im a little late to this party as i havent had a dsm for a few years now... but im back in the game, here's me testing the ctsv's today... yes they are direct bolt on, im gonna try a few different rotors, and ill get back on here and report
i welcome the newbs, we were ALL dsm newbs at one point, i know the same quesitons get repetative but hey........ we are here to help each otherive been on here for about 7 YEARS.... good lord, makes me feel oldguess im a dsmtuners O.G.
i made the replacement trunk floor cheap1/4" particle board - $17
black felt material from walmart - $6just cut it to fit, wrapped it, and stapled it all down on the bottom side, came out really clean:thumb:
well you would see gains with that sheet metal im, BUT you wont see the same gains as thier new revised one with velocity stacks, just keep this in mind...... they ditched that design for a reason
