Any of you guys still going to the friday night meets? Since the weather is warming up, I might be up to start going. I think I was on the brink of hypothermia last time...
Check to see if anything is getting in the way of the "shifter arms" on your transaxle. Also, how much does UPP charge for dyno time? I've been there but just to buy a coupler. Nice shop.
Well, I was planning on coming to this on the bike buuuuuuuuuuut.... it just started leaking from the radiator (seems to be a common thing on this bike). I'll try repairing it with jb weld for the time being since a replacement is around $1000.
If i'm thinking about where you're talking about, the area is still being somewhat developed. You'll have a more "country" feel, being in that area. As for snow, Powers, Academy, and 25 get plowed rather quickly. It takes them a little longer to plow the side streets. This past winter, most...
I'm glad you're starting to have a little better luck. We need to arrange another meet, now that I have my Talon here, even if it's just to cruise the hills and take some pictures. Good luck with the build and let me know if you ever need an extra hand. Also, I'm slightly saddened that you...
It has a full "race" block and head from SBR, a S16G turbo kit from HRC, and some Megan springs. In the garage, I have a Treadstone cast manifold, Megasquirt standalone, and a Zeitronix wideband. Hawaii took one hell of a toll on the body, especially having been stationed there twice... I've...
After waiting for several months, she arrived yesterday. She's been sitting for about two years. She's dirty, rusty, and needs a lot of work but she runs!
It took us about 30 days to close on our house. Mortgage rates are pretty low right now but they're going up because the supply and demand is their. My wife and I couldn't stay at the post inn because we had dogs but we found a real nice extended stay play in Monument. It's quiet, nice, and...
Homes in the Springs don't stay listed very long. With the new unit standing up on Fort Carson, tons of new families are coming in and buying everything up.
I bought my house near the area that Albanator was talking about (off of Milton Proby). I pay $791/mo for a 3BR/1.5BA/2 Car garage. Similar houses in the area rent for around 1100.
They are the same as the 98-00 Avenger. I searched for a very long time before finding some. I just found some on millerimportparts.com. Contact them and see if they are still available. If not, visit your local pick and pull and see if they have any 420a equipped vehicles in the lot.
This pic, posted by finesse49ers, is of the rear motor mount. You can see it located beneath the white piece of paper. The others that I/we/you believe you have found are located 1) by the timing belt, 2) below the header, mounted to the cross-member, and 3) under the battery tray, on the...
According to your last statement, you are still looking for the one behind your motor bolted to your firewall. Look behind your throttle body and down the firewall. If you ever had a leak on the backside of your motor, it may be black and hard to see.
For FREEEEE! I bought an a/t to m/t conversion kit a while back just for the shift cable so I have all the other parts just sitting around collecting dust.
Can't wait to see it back on the road. We need to get the meets rolling again. I'm half tempted to make some cards to put on the windshields of all the DSMs on post...
Why are we arguing on this thread? He clearly stated that he was in need of a few parts. The title and initial title never once said "which is better, this or that?". So the discussion/ argument should have never begun.
I've been looking for one for forever. Every time I find one, I'm too late. Still looking for a talon high rise as well. My car won't be here until (hopefully) next month so I'll have plenty of time to fix it.
They spray Magnesium Chloride instead. It's still corrosive but not as bad as salt or Sodium Chloride.Oh, and sand... lots and lots of sand... a nightmare for motorcyclists.
I'm down (if I can remember this time) but I'll still be on the bike until around July. I'm trying to convince the in-laws to tow the Talon when they come see the newborn, when he's here.
