Thanks for chiming in FIC. I will check around and see if I can find a local place that can do some flow testing. Thanks, I was able to find some more pics of PTE injectors, and I am thinking the same thing, they do look quite similar, especially with the engraving of the numbers. Just sent...
Hey guys, pulling some of the last parts off of a shell that I had, and I am trying to identify these injectors. They were installed by the previous owner, and I was told they were 660cc's, but I am looking to get rid of them and want to figure out exactly what they are. Each injector has a...
Then throw it my way.My buddy picked it up, most of what I heard was pretty good. "Beautiful" was probably my favorite, and "Insane" was actually pretty disturbing lol. Decent album, not the best I have heard, but not bad.
For that kind of power, all of those rods are a little overkill, you would be fine with Scat/Eagles. But since you say it will be a DD, it doesn't hurt to go a little overboard. Any one of those rods will be a great choice, my personal preference would be Pauter.
^^^Is that the same as this? eBay Motors: Summit 230102 Fuel Filter Inline Mount Black 6 AN Male (item 370185492881 end time May-08-09 17:54:09 PDT)I just picked up some of these for my dual 044 setup, it doesn't say anywhere in the listing that they aren't for high pressure applications...
Well, came home for the weekend and there were a few boxes waiting for me, so I figured I would snap some pics of them and some other stuff I have laying around.First off, the gauges I have for the car. Stewart Warner Maximum series. They are a great, stock looking gauge:I hope to be...
The rotors are 94-04 Mustang Cobra rotors, they were purchased off of ebay, can't recall what company they were from. And the brackets were custom made, the dimensions can be found in the "Bargain Basement Big Brakes" thread, they were designed by Wortdog.
Chris, the coating is 2000* silver by Columbia Coatings. Stanley Distributions did it for me (stanleydistribution.com). They are great to work with, I was one of the first ones getting silver, and Justin told me if I didn't like it, they would re-coat it in a different color for no charge...
After talking with Brent from JMF about a new product he cam up with, I thought it would be perfect for me. At that point, the only small battery tray they offered was for the PC680. This is a great option for track cars, weekend warriors, and cars with few electronics. Another thing is that...
Couple more updates:
Got another batch of 3" Wiggins clamps for the UICP:Also picked up some 3/4" clamps because I will be redoing the oil drain setup, I think the old setup was a little too small, some people in the Holset threads are thinking that improper sizing of the drain has lead...
Hate to rain on your parade, but the auction clearly says oem "STYLE" headlights. That being said, I like these a ton better than the halo style headlights.
I also had Justin powdercoat some other stuff for me. I had him do my calipers for me in semigloss black. I am not just building this car as a drag car, I wanted to have a well built all around weekend warrior. So I decided to get some big brakes for it. I got the brackets for the 3kgt vr4/Cobra...
Correct, when you purchase them through a dealer, the price they have listed is only for the clamp itself and the seal ring. The weld ferrules and o-rings are extra.
I am going with solid 1.5" lines, the great part about Wiggins clamps is that they allow for flexibility.
Are you guys feeding from the head or the ofh? No balance shafts? I am thinking of picking one of these flanges up for my setup, I will be feeding from the head, with no balance shafts, unported oil relief.
Oh yeah, forgot to answer that. But like you said, the person I bought the 1.5" clamps from said he had some .5" ones laying around, and he threw in 3 assemblies (clamp and 2 ferrules) for free. And the AN fittings were purchased in a large lot on ebay about a year ago, about 50 pieces in all...
Just got my parts back from being ceramic coated, here's a pic:And link to my thread with more pics/info:

Eagle/Wiseco G4CS, but I believe I will be making some changes to it...
I too am putting together a long rod 2.4L setup! Except it is for my HX40, not 52. I picked up the Magnus 156mm rods and a new Eagle 4g64 crank for dirt cheap. And mine will also be months before it sees the road ROFL
Holy shit Tim, I thought the first cover was huge! The Race one is just massive! Are you still going to be using the DNP manifold, or are you going with something different?
Are you sure the center section is in the housing all the way? I had the same problem with my bep housing a while back and the chra was hard to get in the housing all the way. It it isn't, you can pound it on with a rubber mallet.
