Ok so I started to do my boost leak test and I believe my compressors air hose has a leak, but that's besides the point. But the reason I could only get to 5psi total before it just wouldn't go any higher.

Well I got the codes when i checked with my pocketlogger...its always had a CEL but ran fineSo check the wiring to the wiring harness and such, what should i look for?Burnt wires, or open/ exposed ones?

Ok, well I searched a bunch of part throttle threads but none seemed to do what mine is I believeI noticed it this morning, if I go over 3000ish rpm, part throttle or full throttle it seems like my car hits fuel cut, or that it just doesn't get fuel and stops accelerating no matter what...

I'll most definatley have to agree with NATAS.. just get out while your .. behind.. conversions are too many headaches when you could just wait and find an already turbo modell....
Home made hood scoops etc and vents will cause turbulance beneath the hood.. the car was designed a certain way if you want cooler air try one of the many cold air intakes :)
I have a friend who tried this same exact scenario.. and he could not make it work for the life of him.. he ended up finding a 1g tsi for almost the same ammount he paid for everything to convert the 1.8..
I'd say no for 1000.. thats a bad rust spot.. i mean thats basically your hardpoints for struts.. geeze i bet that steering wheel goes crazy at 40mph...
