ya you can use the stock ecu and you have to change the firing order thats all i just did this swap about a month ago. If you have any questions just pm me i might be able to answer most if not all your questions about the swap

its kind of a check valve/ filter it comes with like everyone says boost guages or boost controllers my greddy spec 2 controller came with something similar
my car did the same thing when i went atmis stick with recirculating. I have a rs and its still loud enough to hear with the recirculation also check to see if you have any boost leaks this would also cause your motor to stall out like that
