I just rev it a few times and watch them spin their tires with the green .. it feeds their ego and gets them the speeding ticket while I cruise along with a big grin on my face :D
Just curious? Because no one in their right mind would try to fuse that 3000 gt monstruosity of a bumper to a 2GB, if you ask me. I hope someone comes through for you, It might change your mind... again that's just my opinion
Why would he need a 0-30 psi boost guage, he can't run more than 7 psi unless he's spent a ton of money on internals? He has a 420 engine. :ohdamn: A 0-20 psi would look better and be more practical. :hmm:
I figuered that It would cool or warm but the more the merrier If you ask me, plus I'm not too crazy about the guage placement in the center vent location. I'm not hating, It's just my opinon..
It's not that "the rest of the members jump on board" it's that we all like the original eclipse body style. Anybody start a thread with "2g and bodykit" together in the same sentence and it's off to the races to try and convince the op to not ruin his ride. :nono:
You need to spray some black paint on the front frame (radiator area). It stands out like a sore thumb now. How'd you mount the fogs? Hopefully not with tape.
A lot of people forget to check the radiator cap seal for wear also, if it does have some just replace it. It's overlooked a lot and can cause overheating.
Smiley faces aren't ugly, their just not as good looking as the 2gb imo and body kits within a few years and bumps look crappy as hell.. funny though that everyone trying to sell you a body kit changed their minds about installing them (hint, hint). Take everybody's advice and keep it stock or...
Did you read greengoblins2011's post on page one sypherzero? That's why everybody's said to be up for a pair. If his tells his dad of the interest, it might be worth his effort.
I'm thinking about buying the AEM ES series #5903 because they look like our guages durring the day (not lit) black face and white readings and when the lights are turned on, they are backlit red, which is what I'm looking for with the red LED replacement bulbs. Anybody have them? Opinions?
74-79 Toyota Corolla SR5's had some similar flares from the factory. They even have the same visible bolt pattern. Maybe you could locate some and fit them to your eclipse. :thumb: Good luck!
You can achieve over 300 hp on a dyno tune with the stock injectors, wally 190, a 16g, an safc and supporting mods (intake. exhaust, boost controller and so on). I did.
Thanks for the info on the Faze guage Jesse2012, it might even help out other DSM'ers, but I'm going with black guage faces and red backlit led's and unfortunately Faze guages only sport white guages. Zombiesix's setup's lookin sweet. What brand guages are those?
I see you're into the sleeper look.. no visible guages eh? Looks good. I've got to have a/c, I don't know how you can handle the heat and rain in our state. Nice touch with the steering wheel and boot combo!
Just installing composite fenders won't help much, the whole car is made of metal anyways. A good paint job and some under coating should help with the rust, just try not to use it in the winter season.
Where did you find the "red-amber" leds? All I've found are amber or
red. I've googled and yahooed and couldn't find'em I've been checking this thread to see if anyone ask's but I couldn't wait any longer. I'd appreaciate your direction.
Right, my rear plates attached with coarse threded screws and it holds perfectlyHave you tried the Evo plate holder? If you're hell bent on getting one, start there. It should work.
I agree, If you have tools and some skill you could very well pull it out or maybe even open the door and pull the fender out with your hands and start saving for a pro to do the job. It won't cost you but some time, well worth it if you ask me. :hmm:
Enough with the goats already..hey infinite did you do a write up or take any pictures? I've got an extra set of tails and I'd love to do something similar if it's not to complicated.
Those look nice lit up wes but I'm not too crazy about the stealth/tinted aspect though. They need power to be visible durring the day right? Are they mechanical? They do look like what I'm looking for.
I was debating on the same issue before modernizing my GS-T, then I made up my mind. I decided to not mix'em, go one way or the other, It just looks complete IMO :aha:
Nice entries, keep'em comeing, I know there's more out there. I've got some decisions to make pretty soon. Don't forget descriptions or makes and brands to sway our opinions. :thumb:
I recently went with superbright leds in red on the cluster and need to change my boost guage now to match. I've got the AEM Uego on the pillar for my air/fuel, no problem there but my boost guage is a Faze mechanical w/ white face, green illumination..sucks, I know. Post some pictures if...
