I have an SAFC-II and an external wastegate that is tuned to 8psi from the SAFC-II. If I were to get an AVC-R, and turn up the boost, wouldnt i have to tune the safc every single time, to that pound of boost? I see people with safc and an avc-r, and they just turn up the knob and BAM!. HELP?

hey man, check for boost leaks, and make sure that your air filter is on tight. I had the same exact problem, and it really depends what it could be, remember that you still have a turbo, which does make things just a LOT more difficult. i have fixed just about everything on my tsi. Most likely...

plug off your recirculation hose, plug it up properly. you dont want anything getting in your turbo. having whatever bov really doesnt matter. as long as theres not an uneven mixture of airflow getting in your turbine, then your fine. thats what happens when you just pull off the recirc hose.
