Using any sort of FCD is a bad idea. You are fuel cutting because you are flowing more air than you can provide fuel. Get more fuel and lean the signal out and you are set.
yes the crank seal is needed. the half moon you are talking about is for the head/valvecover. just get a valve cover gasket kit and it should come with the gasket, plug seals and half moon seals. put some RTV sealant around it to keep it from leaking. What about the oil pump and gasket?
I live in colorado and race at bandimere. I have ran a 13.5 on the 14b and a 12.8 on the 50trim so far. Some friends of mine in Colorado DSM have went 12's on the 14b and even more are running 12's on the small 16g, and the evo 16g. So yes its possible!
