I am posting this to see if anyone else has this problem. I know that some people get black goo build up, some don't. I usually get a pretty substantial buildup after about 2 months of driving on e85 exclusively. However, I have noticed that the black goo buildup ONLY occurs on the #4...
Everything is installed. I ran new hard lines from the master cylinder to the wilwood valve, and I also ran new hard lines to the front calipers. Then, I ran T-fitting on the bias valve outlet, and connected the T to each of the rear brake lines. I mounted the wilwood valve on the firewall...
Excellent info, thanks! I had actually ordered that exact same "combination proportioning valve" before I saw you post this, now I'm glad I did. I like how it has the integrated "T" for the fronts.
Has anybody done this before? I have an ABS car, and I was wondering if when I eliminate my ABS, I could just run a proportioning valve for the rear brakes, and run the front's unregulated. It seems I would just run a T from the front brake outlet on the MC to both of the front calipers...
I had a bunch of footage that I've taken over the last couple years, and finally decided to compile it all into a video. As usual, its just a bunch of random footage I've taken of DSM stuff. It's not a great video, but maybe it will help motivate some people to finish their cars and have fun...
Who runs E85 + Meth/Water? I was trying to search around on DSMTuners, and it looked like English racing uses both. Has anybody here used them in conjunction with good results/dyno numbers, etc? Basically, I am trying to find out if this a decent way to move the knock threshold even higher than...
Does anybody know if the front and rear endlinks from 3sx for the 3000gt will work on a DSM?Swaybar TT Saner AWD Endlinks & Bushings Sets#-#Mitsubishi 3000GT#/#Dodge Stealth Parts
I have this Eagle catalog, also. Not sure if this has already been uploaded or not, but I scanned it anyways. The front cover and back cover are a big poster of a talon.I also have this very cool "Eagle Talon Enthusiast's Guidebook", a 23 page booklet, complete with a 4...
I found some more brochures and advertisements, I will upload them shortly.Edit: Just scanned one in... It's basically the same info that was on the last pamphlet I uploaded, but I figured someone might want to see it.
Somewhere around here I've got a full letter sized brochure of the Diamond Star Motors facility operations. It shows 1g's being assembled on the line, and shows the workers of the DSM plant assembling the cars, etc, would anybody want to see that?
What would cause oil burning on both cold starts and hot starts? It will burn oil if I just start the car and let it idle , but if I rev the engine/ drive the a block, the burning will stop completely and not come back until I shut the car off again and restart.I compression tested and all...
I was wondering who has a custom tie rod end setup on their car, such as spherical bearing, etc. Is there anything available for our cars besides OEM replacement tie rod ends?
I was going to do dual blowing off valves but someone told me it's not good for the windshield wiper motor to have all that extra stress??? Word on the streetz is that there is a green mitsubishi mirage that rolls in hot every weekend at strats, his record is like 50 - 0. Someone needs to tell...
I bet your uncle can't inject floride for sh1t. You say it won't work, but I have a team of people with aviation experience working with me to make this a 1g like you ain't never seen before, son. It doesn't matter if my aviation experts were only baggage handlers, they have the kind of hands...
Guys dont listen to this clown. He didn't have what it takes to be a real street racer. He's the same guy that told me my 1g dsm could never be an airplane, but I'm in the process of converting into a drift airplane, FTW! DSM airplane = awesomesauce. He's a hater, not a participator. When's...

It's funny that you mention this. In 2007 I was driving my 96 Eclipse GSX around town and a black monte carlo pulled up next to me at a stop light. The driver was 40- something years old, and was wearing a cowboy hat. (ha). He looked over at me and said, "Hey boy, you know that car your...
Dude, bro... stop going in people's threads and ruining their days. Just because you pissed off at the world for buying a secretary car (GST 2g) doesn't mean you have to take it out on us so called "noobs".Red97EclipseBoy FTL!All in favor of 1g's for life, say I! The interior of the 1g is...

My guess would be to tie a rope around the honk, and attach the other end to the steering wheel. Make sure to datalog your load factor, though. Too much honk will load the engine around 4-5k RPMs and probably cause some detonation. Results will vary though. My buddy Japetto ran his 1g AWD...
my car has the "feul cut" issue as well but, my uncle (he works for united airlines) he says it's more than likely a dirty valve cover, or possibly a loose spark plug?
Spare me, red97eclipseboy... You always post in threads about how you think the 2g is a great car and blah blah blah. I completely agree with that guys statement, 1g FTW! 1g's demand respect, 2g's ask for it.Don't believe me? Here are the reasons why the 1g is superior:1. Passive...
Your an idiot. Did you even read the OP's first post? He said the car "has no go". That rules out everything you just said. I agree with the OP, I think it needs tuned. When it takes a shit, does it make black smoke? What color is the shit? Does it smell like fuel? What is the texture...
Stop posting if you don't know what your talking about, my buddies 2g left-loaded for the first 2 months that he owned it and it wasn't crankwalk. You just need to tighten the screw on the adjuster.
Alright, before this gets out of hand... haha...This is a JOKE people... Some people are playing along with it. I'm just a bored DSMer. I can't stand to see anymore replies that think I am serious haha.
Well here is the basic rundown of my plans. I will be converting my 1g DSM into an airplane over the course of the next year or so. And yes, I am serious. I know a lot of people are probably wondering why I would do something so stupid, or if it is even legal, but I plan on taking care of all...
Sounds like a situation my buddy went through. If I recall correctly, he just stopped showing up to work. Then some consultants came in and fired all his friends off, but promoted him even though he had been skipping work lately. His friends were pretty pissed at the company, as was he...
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.Go under the hood, and look on top of the transmission for a plug that has an orange, blue, yellow, and red set of wires in it. Cut the blue wire in half, take the harness side of the wire, and solder on a 10 watt, 10 ohm resistor, and then ground the other end...
