For its weight I think its decent... switch on the ETC button along w/ manual shifting and it moves :).... alot more than I can say for the s2000 i ALMOST bought..
its a 01... sad since i wanted it in stick but i'm getting used to the E-shift nicely... but yes, its got the famous 2jz-ge motor in it :) I'm already looking for a manifold, hahaha i guess once you start modding you never stop modding...

One of my buddies said, s2000 are overpriced and underpowered... and the powerband is horrible..Really interested in getting one of these. Which should I go for, the older 2.0 or the newer 2.2?

My boss is into that low rider stuff, and I went with him once to a picnic, I think there were 2 cars riding on 28s or 30s i dont remember, the body was about 15' off the ground, lol..
Be sure you have no boost leaks either, once I had a crack in one of my couplers and it sounded like turbo whining after a certain rpm once it built like 10 psi.

My buddy got his evo tuned by them, while they were still at their old shop, but he wasn't too satisfied with their "conservative" tune.. for what they did, he could have probably done it himself... good luck though, I heard it's a long list to wait for an appointment.:thumb:
I have everything besides the tubular manifold, and there is absolutely no way my car sounds like that beast...

Im getting tired of the money pit... and with gas prices going up... although its a 4 cylinder it eats up gas worse than a v8...Anyways, i've decided to part out the car and accept my loses...From whats in my profile and some misc stuff, how much can I be expecting to get by parting out...

Alright, I was installing my new head and swapping over some parts and kind nicked the CAS, it didn't break in completely, but it did bend somewhat. I did my best to make it look like it did before, put a drop of crazy glue on it, it "looks" fine, my question is...After I timed everything...
What I did was use the nut to turn the rod, turn the nut all the way out so its at the end of the thread and then use a 12mm wrench to turn the nut even more. Depending on which way you want to turn the rod is up to you, but once you turn the nut forcing it to turn the rod, it should get the rod...
I just recently pulled my intake off, after about 2000 miles on the magnus gasket and it looks a bit warmed, all the runners seem to be disformed... don't know whether I should reuse it or not.
Ummm, my only guess to how this happened was i started to add more and more e85 and i might have ran a little too lean or something...
The plugs are ngk e7s..So i was in the garage tuning and whatnot when all of a sudden the car began to idle like crap and i heard a loud tick tick tick and...
I think chicago was named #1 city with the highest gas prices... so i run e85...E85 = 3.45$ per gallon
93 octane = 4.35 per gallon
103 octane = 4.65 per gallon
The turbo setup that came with my car has a knock off... i think it might be leaking at idle... since i feel exhaust coming out of the dump tube, but it seems to work nicely and roar under boost..
About these aerocatch locks, I see theres not much curve to them..I have this hoodAnd have my current pins going through the 2 humps somewhat... Would getting these aerocatch locks be a bad idea?( they won't sit flush with the hood?
Its behind the intake manifold along the firewall... and i'm pretty sure the only way to get one now is either from mitsubishi themselves or from a donor car... i got mine off a part out car, good luck.:thumb:

Thanks, it does need some more TLC, like cleaning up the engine bay with some degreaser(just got done doing an engine swap) and put my spark plug cover on n such... but the engine bay is sooooo empty now, plenty of room for my meth kit, now that battery, cruise control n other crap is gone...
Some say that the SSAC turns into complete crap when you throw a monstrous turbo on there, and are only good for about 450hp... but i'll see for myself soon enough.
So i fixed my leak, it was the oil pump seal... but just to make sure i'll try to break that son-bi*** crank bolt and do the crank seal aswell...Anyways, now i need more ideas guys, i'll take a picture during the day but this is how she looks @ night with a shitty camera..*dont mind the...
Found it... it was oil pump seal... guessing the guy was in a hurry when he put it in and didnt lube it up, old one was torn on the inside...
Still getting a small mist, but it doesnt seem to look like oil anymore...
