Yes the "sensor", the coolant temp sensor could be bad, but wouldn't throw a light, also it is called a coolant temp sensor, if you weren't sure and you wanted to change it anyway

wow, that blows, just be careful, i suggest you don't use the pry bar, it's probably the manifold, its not aligning your turbo properly. See if using the stock manifold lines things up, if it does, box that bad boy up and return it
