Dont worry about it, you're not bothering me at all bro. Anything you're gonna need just shoot me a pm on here or get at me on aim... I probably have it somewhere or another :thumb: I gotta stop up and help ya with this pile. Have you changed the t-belt since the last time I was up? I recall you...
Go with a fmic, so when it comes time to put that fitty trim on i sold you youre ready! I still have this exhaust sitting here too if you want that. Hit me up on aim next time youre on and well chat about it
One of my buddies recently purchased an 89 colt w/4g63 swap. The previous owner said it needs a new clutch, and the pedal is rock hard. Is this infact the clutch assembly? I don't wanna put this new clutch in and it be something else. I was told maybe a pinched line or clutch fork too. Just...
Had the same problem if this is a 2g, gonna have to take it to an exhaust shop and have it welded. And that stock exhaust isnt modified, I just cut mine apart yesterday. Exact same thing.
Chaz, the only thing i can see that may pose a problem is the evo 4g63 being backwards or whatever, take it to the machine shop and see what they say. But with evo rods and pistons fitting i cant see why the crank wouldnt work either. I cant help ya with this one but just my .02 cents. Was this...
Sorry to thread jack, but would HKS Valve springs and stock retainers be enough for the Delta K272's? I've been looking into theses cams and a local has the springs and retainers for a deal just wondering if I should pick these springs up with the intentions of using these cams.
I have one of these in my possession right now... were using it on a buddies sohc civic... heres the specs:Borgwarner/ISHI RHC6 turbocharger.Very high quality turbo featuring T3 compatible oil drain and turbine flange, bigger shaft than equivalent garrett turbos, double compressor seal...
95's have a different cas reading..... not sure if the 95 eprom will work in the 97. BUT unplugging the battery.... he's running an safc and 550's.... would unhooking the battery kick the safc settings out of line? im just trying to eliminate any possibilities hereSafc settings are good...
We did a BLT, cleaned up the wiring a little, swapped MAS's, and the coolant temp sensor so far. His BISS screw is stripped out but I tried messing with that and after the wiring cleanup the car will stay running but idles like shit. I have a known working TB off my car that we can swap out if...
I think someone on here actually is using one. I know his name on RHMT is aero..... dont know what hes on here as.Heres the link to his rhmt build thread.1995 Eagle Talon TSI AWD Holset HE351VE VGT Build thread. (No 56K)
The plan was to tack the flapper shut. IF my 57trim, fp mani and PR o2 sell I'd like to get a cheap turbonetics style mani and run this if I dont fall into getting a .70 t3 housing for the holset
Borgwarner/ISHI RHC6 turbocharger.Very high quality turbo featuring T3 compatible oil drain and turbine flange, polished Compressor housing, bigger shaft than equivalent garrett turbos, double compressor seal and sturdy internals such as bolted-Down 360deg. Thrust plate and an integrated...
I was told the exhaust wheel was gt30 sized but dont quote me on that. I'd say run it and let us know how it goes. Mines going on a buddies built sohc non vtec 00 hatch :hellyeah:
BlaastPerformance.com / Turbo KitsGo to turbochargers, 350-500hp, then its listed under borg warner RHC6Heres a few pictures:GM-1 (Left), H1C (Middle), BEP 57 trim (Right)Gm-1 57trimMore Info available in this thread I found. Includes compressor maps. Big turbo, small...
Ordered and recieved one for my 95 awd tsi. I also bought a PR cat elim 3" dp. need to have the cat flanged cut flipped and rewelded to line up. But the catback is not bad for 219 shipped to my door :hellyeah:
My IHI/Borg Warner RHC6 GM-1 has a 51mm inducer and a 70mm exducer on the compressor side. I was told the exhaust wheel was similar in size to a gt30 wheel. Both housings are .70a/r with the compressor being 3"inlet, 2.5" outlet and the turbine housing is undivided t3. I believe that all the gm...
Don't get me wrong I'd LOVE to get a divided tubular manifold. I just can't find one in my budget range. I'd still need to get the o2 housing made and figure out the wastegate. I really don't have the $$ to spend on another Synapse wastegate. Like I said I'm kicking the idea around. If its not...
Im not the type of person to care much about spool. The car is also gonna be a dd so I'd rather use a cast manifold over a tubular. The spool shouldnt be that bad either way
How does a 54MM 8blade h1c compare to a 57 trim? I have both turbo's. The 57 trim is a bep bolt on and the h1c has the 18.5cm twin scroll t3 housing. I was thinking about selling my fp race mani, punishment 38mm o2 housing and 57 trim to get an erl t3 manifold and using the holset as it sits...
They never really discontinued the td series turbos. Evo 4-9 is a td05hr. R meaning reverse rotation. Same goes for the srt-4 turbos. Theres still plenty of td series turbos out there.
Hook the black hose into the compressor cover. Then hook the bov directly to the intake manifold. The way you have it setup wont let the wastegate open hence the unlimited boost situation. Try adjusting the mbc once you hook it up the right way.
For a mbc your not supposed to tee into the bov. Hook it up to the compressor housing then adjust it. Hook up the wastegate to the compressor housing then proceed from there. Then hook up the mbc and adjust it.
I'm only using the budget mani because I'm on a tight budget for the race car. I can't bring myself around to spend 600+ on a decent mani on my salary right now.
