After debating on doing it, I went ahead and used Heli coil. Got it done. Wasnt hard at all, just a little scary since I was drilling into aluminum. Went smoothly, redrilled and tapped the hole straight. Used red loctite on helicoil and blue on bolt. I feel better now. Lol. Thanks everyone.

I'm not sure how much bigger a 1/4 bolt is compared to the original m6x1.00 but should I redrill the whole to a little bigger size to accomodate the new bolt? I'm not familiar with bolts, is a 1/4-20 okay? Thanks.

If you have the money and are willing to learn to tune dsmlink will compensate for those, but like I said you will have to learn how to tune and use it. Downside to link is it's expensive and you have to mess with stuff yourself. If you want a cheap alternative where you wont have to tune...

Hello everyone, I will be timing my car here soon and priming the oil pump before I install the tbelt and time it. I was wondering... I'm sure in order for me to prime the oil pump my 90 style ofh connections to the oil cooler will need to be hooked up to the cooler or somehow have them sealed...

Hey guys. I got myself a new knock sensor since mine needed replaced. My motor is out of the car so accessing the sensor is not an issue. However how the $#^& do you torque the damn bolt down? They dont make an O2 sensor like socket big enough for it and I cant find a crowsfoot attachment...

They said they were only taking the intake valves out since they needed to work on that side only. There is no ther way for me to lube the exhaust valves without taking the head off and stuff?... There has to be other options...
