A lil update the 6bolt from the talon is now swapped in the gsx I did some front end work wheel bearings curved control arms tie rod ends. Swaped hood and hatch from Talon aswell as the windsheild wiper motors and tank. I removed the spoiler today check it out.

Problem was my eprom ECU the whole time its triggering the ignition intermittently I now have a 1997 eclipse gsx and with that ECU same problem so I am sending it back too ECM link where they inspected it back in 2011. LOL :hellyeah: :nono:MFI relay trigger is faulty on pin 38
OK so should I inspect the ecu for damage? I know we messed with a bunch of wires at the power transistor and near the ecu... but the ecu would start in a 1997 tsi awd no problem so i'm doubting its the ecu.
The previous owner took out the power steering, but it looks like he has a 1g pump and the belt is just not on the pulleys. I would assume if i'm swapping in my other 6bolt motor that has a 2g pump and is working on my tsi currently it would work in the gsx ? I know that most ppl get the manual...
Ok it sounds like its something on the engine... it happens only on decel from 2000rpm too 1000rpm. Sounds like a bearing metal on metal high pitched. The head is rebuilt from DSM Graveyard stage 1... I know I hope its not inside the head. I have arp head studs 3g lifters all new oem timing...

I lost my gauge cluster screws the two that are on top. Does any one know what size they are ? I believe they have a taper on them so they sit flush with the bezel.
