A lil update the 6bolt from the talon is now swapped in the gsx I did some front end work wheel bearings curved control arms tie rod ends. Swaped hood and hatch from Talon aswell as the windsheild wiper motors and tank. I removed the spoiler today check it out.

Yeah I would have thought that too but seems like its on the timing side if I go to the other side its not as loud.

Problem was my eprom ECU the whole time its triggering the ignition intermittently I now have a 1997 eclipse gsx and with that ECU same problem so I am sending it back too ECM link where they inspected it back in 2011. LOL :hellyeah: :nono:MFI relay trigger is faulty on pin 38

OK so should I inspect the ecu for damage? I know we messed with a bunch of wires at the power transistor and near the ecu... but the ecu would start in a 1997 tsi awd no problem so i'm doubting its the ecu.

The previous owner took out the power steering, but it looks like he has a 1g pump and the belt is just not on the pulleys. I would assume if i'm swapping in my other 6bolt motor that has a 2g pump and is working on my tsi currently it would work in the gsx ? I know that most ppl get the manual...

Now if I hook it back up too the wire in the harness and it doesn't start how would I go about finding the problem ?

Ok it sounds like its something on the engine... it happens only on decel from 2000rpm too 1000rpm. Sounds like a bearing metal on metal high pitched. The head is rebuilt from DSM Graveyard stage 1... I know I hope its not inside the head. I have arp head studs 3g lifters all new oem timing...

I have a weird issue with my car starting and electrical drain.I recently had a 6 bolt swap done with ECMLink 3.0 installed. The guy who did the work claims the car will only start if the MPI relay is grounded. He has two wires running from the relay to the car's chassis not sure what pins...

The weirdest thing about this problem is when I had the 1g head on it started but then the cam bearing sized. We swap to the 2g head and it wont start is it possible the head was assembled wrong that it wont start even though it has compression would it be best to do a leak down test ??? Or take...

This is confusing the car is a 95 2g and has a 6bolt block and 2g head and a 1g black top cas. The car also has link 3.0. What is the correct way to wire the plugs ????

So the plug wires are to stay the same order as stock 2g is. but I still check the box in link. ??

Well instead I'm rebuilding the 2g head. The 6bolt block is fine only the head was damaged... so lucky :D

Car was untuned and has dsmlink 3.0 I added that with the swap it was first start and was setup for 650cc fic injectors as thats what I put in the car.

The 6bolt had a perfect 165 across the board sold the 1g shell. The swap is currently in the works. DSM Link 3.0 is on the way with a new wbo2 :D Should have pics sooner or later. Oh yeah my ecu is eprom haha Lucky me.
