Thanks guys- it was a tonne of work. One tip I gotta say is Save the rockers before ya trash old shells, I didnt in the past and i regretted rebuilding them one off each side! So much welding, grinding, welding lol

Only because it is a warm up issue, have you ohmed out the computer coolant sensor warm vs cold and checked spec? It can be toast with no CEL...

Had the same issue- the relay right at the pump from the rewire was the issue on my 95. Pulled my hair out diagnosing all other relays in center of dash behind radio and fuse box under hood- then found that one hanging under the car! (no wonder it was shot) Changed it and vroom! Hope this info...

One of those lines goes to your emissions canister (if its still there) and the other line goes to your valve cover (right by the thermostat housing). Good Luck!
I feel a little silly- my temp sending unit (justy bought a new one) was hooked up backwards. The wiring connector was toast (dried up and such) so it just had some female spade connectors on it. It really helped the idle to set the TPS to .9 though, no more surge. Thankyou for your help! :)
The value I gave you is the adjustment when you're setting the TPS, it says to set it between .48 and .52 V. (so I set it at .5) Can you fill me in on the other numbers you gave me? (kinda lost me)
