yeah but I'm saying he's put alot of time and money to get where he got today. If he has alot of money then good for him. He deserves it. Being a doctor is not easy.
My friend is in his 7th year of med school. I say don't sue because as it is he is not going to make money until he is 50 anyways. Plus areas with high numbers of Malpractice lawsuits are having a really hard time attracting new doctors because of the amount of money they have to spend on...
If you start killing people you are infringing on other's people's rights so you lose yours, thats understandable. I do believe itws a right, everyone should be able to try and get a license. It should just be much, much harder to get it.
It sucks, but I can't say I'm surprised. I've seen alot of stupid shit over the years, such as dumb ass ricers blowing through red lights, racing on city streets, etc. However, driving on I-78 for the last three years has also shown me that people in general are stupid as hell and can not drive...
What does the battery read now? Do you have any form of data logging or anything like that? If so, does everything read properly on it, like are you getting the expected readings?Honestly man, something like this could be related to a wiring mistake. I know this personally has happened to...
I definetely would not cross a compression check off your list, especially since the car will not start even with starter fluid. If your getting fuel and spark, then a compression check would be next on your list.Who did your rebuild? Was it as full rebuild or just a topend rebuild?edit...
Hey man, do what you want. I just don't see a honda being any cheaper than a dsm. I can spout out examples of why I think so but I won't waste your time. Good luck, ask what you want and see where it goes from there. I wouldn't try asking on here to much because they kind of frown upon the...
what is the world coming too. Selling your turbocharged talon and hoping you have enough for a civic.just kidding man, good luck (I'd keep the talon, if enough shit keeps breaking eventually you'll have a new car)
I go to school still so this is only a summer type of thing. and when I was working there full time gas was only 1.40 for 93. Those were the days
I drive 150 miles each day to work. I'm not in the talon right now, so its costing me on average about 110 to 130 dollars a week. It sucks, takes a huge chunk of the paycheck away. It sucks working two jobs and getting paid less than when you worked the one job fulltime, all because of the bs...
Only in the cities man. Where I live that shit is not cool at all, but go to philly for a weekend and there are more guys then girls wearing tight jeans and nail polish.
Does the Intake for the aftermarket BOV still have the recirculation inlet? They didn't have an option like that when I bought mine, and I ran it with the stock bov and the greddy type s. As long as you have the inlet for the recirc tube you will be fine. Unless they changed something that I am...
I mean, there are alot of variables. Did the mechanic say what happened to make the engine blow? Did he snap a belt or did the thing spin a bearing? If it was a belt it could have nothing to do with the ticking, just the previous owner never changed it and bam, snapped belt taking out the motor...
I hate garbage like this that feels it can use your cpu power just because you aren't using it. When I am at school I usually have to format once a month to get rid of all the crap like that. Anybody have a program or way to stop these pieces of crap from getting on your pc in the first place?
did he say at least where he thought the noise was coming from? Sorry man, I don't know how much more I can help you. If you really want the car get it looked at by someone else and see what they say. Ask them if they can do a compression check, check the timing belt, etc. All I can tell you is...
yeah, I had 180 across the board. It was probably just my own stupidity and
not looking hard enough the first time. The leaks were at the BOV flange, throttle body gasket, and intercooler. Its no big deal because I have had that fixed for a long time, I was just trying to correct my faulty...
I dunno, somebody recommended I try it so I did. Before I did it I couldn't find my leaks. Afterwards, the leaks were apparent and once those were taken care of the system pressurized.
Where would you recommend the engine be set at when doing one of these? Or does it not really...
sounds like you got a huge leak. I had one of those, although it was relatively easy to find because of the rush of air coming out of the leaks. When you say you push 20 psi in are you talking about setting the line pressure on a big compressor to 20 psi or the guage on one fo the bike pump...
1. - Find a new mechanic. Right now. (our cars do have lifters). Unless its a 420a (N/T) in which case look into whether or not they have lifters. I'm pretty sure they still do.2. What does the sound sound like? Is it throwing a code or making a ticking noise? Where does the noise come from...
No offense man, but cheap and 300hp do not go together with a 420a motor. Either sell it and get a 1g like the others said or just save your money until you can afford one of those turbo kits for it. I would say a good nitrous system might get you to your goal but I have seen way to many 420a's...
1 week before I had to go back to school. My dad said either that thing is running or its going to the junk yard. So in one week I fixed the headgasket, clutch, flywheel, lsd, waterpump, and a bunch of other miscellaneous stuff. That was the week from hell, work 10 hours, come home and put...
Not true. I have a 190 and I definetely have overrun until 5500 rpm until it cleans up. It makes a huge difference too, its like having a second boost. Makes my part throttle tuning a nightmare.
So they disconnected the KAr wire? Isn't that what the SAFC modifies so you can make your fuel corrections? I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that is the one. I would start llooking over your safc to ecu connections and see what exactly they changed.
Maybe rebleed the system and try adjusting the clutch pedal. I'm just taking a stab in the dark here but I would try those before going through the whole process of taking the tranny out again. That was a royal PITA.
Hard ass line but true. There was a kid around here about two years ago who was woking on a neon with his factory jack. The car fell on him and supposedly splattered his head all over the garage floor. Its rough but some people just don't learn or take other's advice. For example, my brother...
Junior at Temple University majoring in civil and construction engineering technology. Started out as a Mechanical Engineering major but Calc 2 put a swift end to that.
On the insurance issue, couldn't you just put a clause into a contract or something saying all repairs were done by the owner at their own risk and that the customer was only paying for the use of the space and tools, not for expert guidance on how to do it properly. The guidance is only a...
First off thanks for the help guys. So, if I buy that cable, I would retain the stock amp which would be good. But how would I go about hooking everything up? Would I just run the amp wires to the speaker outputs on the deck? Or would I run the speakers to the headunit and just hook the amp...
