I have been using mobil1 15w-50 since I have had my car. I went to pick up some oil for a change and apparently they are no longer making 15w-50. I picked up a jug of mobil1 5w-30 high performance driving formula instead.I dont like decreasing the weight so much but I wanted to stick...
the upper and lower window trim on my 2g is fading and needs rplacement. I know machv carries both but everything they sell seems expensive compared to other sites. Does anyone else carry these parts at a decent price? And also has anyone tried refinishing these on there own? Would their...
I need to order a new set of lugs for my car. How do i know when i am looking for a pair which will work with my studs and stock wheels? Is there a certain thread pattern or something.

The 2 inlet 1 outlet magnaflow muffler part number 12198 has been used by many members on this site including myself with great results. It is straight through, when you hold it up to the light you can see right out both outlets. To those bashing it without any knowledge about the product keep...
I am in need of some replacement wheels and I am looking at a set of r32 skyline wheels. in particulat these..they are 16x6.5 +40 offset. Anyone have any info as to whether or not these would fit a 2g awd. I dont see any reasons why they shouldent.
I dont really care about my spedometer to much really. The reason I need to mount 215s is because they are the tires I have now and I am just going to transfer them over to the new rims when I get them.40mm will have the wheels stick out a little more than the stoch ones correct? I would...
I broke a rim the other day so i am looking to pick up some new wheels.I think I have decided on a set of 16X7 slipstreams. My question is, what offset should i get that will best suit the car? Also, if I were to go with 16x8's what offset would be best? Also could i fit a set of 215...
no it isint per see. ou have to remove you're upper/lower turbo heat shield. Which gives you acess to the 02 sensor. It has wires running from it to a clip that you unplug on the left side of the engine. You need to get a 02 sensor socket a very strong ratche/wrench and more than likely a...
I realized it is a 16 inch tire and wheel, it just seemed strange that they would be set up that way. I never measured a wheel before and it struck me odd that it was 17 inches.
Ukm I just measured my stock swirlies and they are 17" from one tip to the other. What gives? i thought 95 awd wheels were 16"This is what the wheels look like
I blew up a stock wheel the other day on my awd. I have the stock spare on it now, Will driving it like 15km do any damage to the transfer case due to the size difference?
$80 dollars pff ebay. I put a full 3" turboback with a resonator to the magnaflow muffler on today. It sounds very, very, very deep. Like it rattles the change in my cupholder on decel. Sounds very good at wot. no raspiness at all. pretty loud though.i wil try to make a write uo in the...
You have a leak somewheres. Your slave is probably leaking. Run your hand up the back of the clutch pedal up to the pivot point and see if there is any fluid. More then likely there is and its youre slave leaking.
Magnaflow, part number 12198. Looks pretty close to stock and you can even put the stock tips on it without loosing any flow. I put one on today and it sounds nice.
Your car shouldent fall on its face at WOT though, as the ecu disables the front o2 sensor at wide open throttle. Although I would bet it will make your car run alot better, it will also improve your gas mielage considerably.
Have one made. Thats about all you will be able to do. You can get heat protectant aluminium wrap as well that has a sticky side. That would work perfectly for what you want.
What the above poster said isint really true. A 16g variant will really help you're top end even at stockish pressure levels as the turbo can hold that boost to redline. The t25 on the other hand falls on its face.
All smart comments aside i would just spend some time learning more about your car so you can do all the stuff you are having your mechanic do yourself. Also the more you know about your car the better you can maintain it and the less stuff will blow up.
I was wondering this today. Do turbobacks as one of the first couple mods to a dsm actually make that much of a power difference? People always claim that their car feels so much faster etc but honda guys that make maybe .75 more hp say the same thing, if you know what i mean.Does anyone...
I second UltimateDSM check your pcv and make sure it isint clogged. That can cause the dipstick to pop out, and hot oil on hot exhaust parts will cause alot of white smoke.Just for what its worth a $10 pcv valve would be alot easier to replace anyways and see if it helps then just throwing...
I love the bubble, adds character to the car. Everyone always asks me if thats where the turbo is lol. I just say yes must of the time to avoid a stupid conversation.
YA ill make sure i watch that, I was just out looking at them now though and they arent to bad. i might pick up new ones anyways just to make sure I dont have a problem in the future.Im actually going to be putting on a full tbe tommorow, Im just going to put on the downpipe myself before I...
cool, you learn something new every day. i bet mine are rusted all to hell though but no big deal. A loud trip to the hardware store wont hurt anything but my ears.
Are you using metal gaskets or the cheap autozone ones. You can get metal gaskets at most online shops. RRE carries them for sure. $12 a pop i believe.
Yoy have to know carbs pretty well to make an FI carbed car run well. But its pretty cheap and relatively easy to put together. There are manifolds with carb enclosures available which would make life easyer for them.
