I haven't posted on here for a while but I got one of the original sets a while ago and I still love them. They're awesome. With anyone who has these do you guys get like a rattle or a tapping sound during deceleration? Just wondering. Thats the only noise that came about when I first...
Hey guys, as some of you may know, my stock clutch is starting to slip and I am in the market for a new clutch setup. I plan on getting this kit from ExtremePSI:
http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=18329&cat=458&page=1It is the 2100 with the street disc and the...
Threads like this kill me. There are SO many threads asking what is safe for my setup blah blah blah. Just search the forums (that search button up there) and you will learn as you go.
For people suggesting anything under 1000cc please stop. You have DSMlink, the joy of running link is you can run a very large injector. If you get anything under 1000cc your stupid. Mod once and do it right. I'm on the E316g with 1000cc running 100% E85. I started out with 650's and quickly ran...
Its because we have a big bad tough guy in here that is trying to threaten someone on a nation wide forum. Thats the funniest part of this thread IMO.And no its 30 to 3. Its not funny at all.
I agree. This isn't really that funny at all. ESPECIALLY when you can clearly see the guy in the back has a yellow t-shirt on and the naked "girl" in front look like a skinny little white kid. The curve of the pipe makes it looks like boobs.O M G I sayed boob. OMG
After the cam gear cover is trimmed go ahead and put it back on. As you can see I trimmed off a little more than necessary. Oh well:Now you need to fab up a bracket of some sort inorder to mount the regulator. This is what was the most difficult for me. ESPECIALLY since extremepsi gives...
First off, this is not difficult at all. Just figured I'd fill this part of the forum a little more.I bought this AFPR: EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts - Aeromotive A1000 Fuel Pressure Regulator : -6ANKeep in mind, those black fittings are NOT included.I...
The only part I didn't get was when Brian had the opportunity to pick out his cars to use, and picked 3 GTR's. The blue, red, and silver. But throughout the entire movie he just used the blue. Why did he pick the other two and then not use them? I was confused.
I still love my 4.3. And I have done a crap load of 3rd gear pulls on this thing and no slipping what so ever. Although I dont have the kind of power that some of you guys have. None the less I love it.
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-electrical-wiring/266345-aem-uego-wideband-install.htmlWhen you find that white wire, then locate the wire from your ECU for your secondary O2 sensor. Cut that wire, and then solder the white wire to the wire of the secondary O2 sensor from the ECU...
How about a link for a 4" ID coupler? I didn't see any 4" on that site you provided.Edit: Nevermind found one right here. cxracing.com: 4" Enforced Silicon Hose with Stainless Steel T-Clamps. Choose from Blue or Black
Looking at this picture what did you do for a smooth transition from the head/flange to the actual exhaust manifold itself? Seems like the there is an awful big step there.
I'm sorry but I'm going to disagree. If I'm reading this correctly, he is talking about the side "lip" that is right underneath the side skirt. If this is where you are putting your jack stands then those are not jack points. And all it does is just bend that lip.But like I said I could...
There is a secondary antenna built into your rear window. There should be a metal male connector (one big, one small) the small one is the rear window antenna. Plug that into the radio. I have been using that and the reception is fine.
How difficult was it taking off that power steering pump? Mine is fugly looking and I'd like to get it powdercoated as well. Anything I should know about?
Honestly, just find the charcoal canister and start unplugging vac lines and then cap the ones off at the TB. Then finish up with the EGR block-off plate and you're good to go. That's all the big stuff really. I know there is other components but for cleanliness wise thats what I would look at...
Man, you guys are making me a little nervous. Gofer, did your setup look anything like this?:Problem is the driver side strut tower nut that holds the strut bar in place is stripped to all hell, so I can't take the bar off. :|
Well it very well could be just the silver that I used. But like I said I have seen peoples "black" heat shields turn to a brownish color. Just something to think about
Let me just say something about painting that lower heat shield. I painted my top on a while back with a high temp silver and it turned a NASTY yellowish color. And I have heard of people painting there's black (like you want to) and there's have turned a nasty brown color. Just a heads up...
They obviously gave you the wrong one. Like others have said there should have been a bracket and there shouldn't be those two nuts on the end of the cable. And I would really consider taking off that bracket that you just kind of "stuck" on there. It looks like crap and it looks like it's...
