does anyone know what the voltage at the injectors is supposed to be? my brother -in-law was a master tech for many years and he tested the injector wiring and it was reading full voltage (13+) volts, he said it was only supposed to read 5 volts.

I'm just getting back into the dsm scene, I had a 90'GSt before, noe I have a 98GST, last sunday it started to run rough, the rpms bounced all over the place, then it backfired a few times and died. I had to have it towed home, so far ive replaced the plugs, plug wires, coilpack (it was bad) and...
My car was totaled about two weeks ago and i'm looking for a 95-97 ish eclipse turbo 5speed looking to stay around 3k ish, already looking at two cars but it will be a bit of a drive for either, craigslist has thin pickings right now or unrealistic prices. I'd like to find one local.
I had this crazy idea last night and wondered if anyone has tried this or if it would even work. Take a 2G mas and use silicone reducer/adapters to change its placement from stock position to place it instead inline into the upper intercooler pipe after the bov. This would give those who want a...
I have a 90' GST mostly stock except for a voodoo racing mbc and datalogger. I took it to the local track, after my first run, I can't seem to get second gear to engage above 3k rpms or above 25mph. If I drive regular without goosing it it will engage, but it still feels weird when shifting from...
I did a search but found nothing that helps. Here is my problem: Sometimes my aftermarket guage will not register vacuum, the one in the cluster does, but not as much as it should while cruising, if I give the car a modest amount of gas it spools up the turbo.
As I said, it only does this...
My headlights are out, i checked all the fuses and the fusable links on the passenger side under the hood. I went to the parts store and they tried to sell me a headlight relay switch, the chick behind the counter told me this relay was located under the driverside dash. I spent a day or so...
I bought a set of white gauge faces from ebay, (never again) I had to pull the needles off to fit them on. Now they don't seem to read right anymore, is there a way to recalibrate the cluster? I made sure that the needles could move without restriction, but the temp gauge sits alll the way down...
I can't seem to find the name of this part anywhere, and the dealer is closed today. Here is the Pic. It came off the throttlebody of a 90' turbo Eclipse.
I looked on vfaqs, and did a search here but didn't find an answer, so here goes: I have already used liquid nails polyurethane to fill my top driverside mount, it worked great, but it took almost a week to fully harden I no longer have that kind of time to keep the car down. My question is...
Just like the title says, I just replaced the water pump on my 90' GST now it idles at 1500-1600 rpms almost constantly, every now and then after the car is warm and i restart it, it idles normal till i get her moving, then it goes back to 1500. I followed the toming belt replacement...
