No luck, last thing i tried was to unbolt the downpipe to check if maybe the cat was clogged but no change. I live in the N.E. area off naco and o'connor.
I changed the power transistor. It still drops idle and acts like it wants to die. The plugs look ok, and good spark from the wires.I noticed a lot of liquid at the muffler, now I'm not sure or not if it was gas.

i did check for that, compression is 175-180, i just changed the power transistor and got a change, now it dips idle and its running so rich that i;m getting unburnt gas at the muffler.
does anyone know what the voltage at the injectors is supposed to be? my brother -in-law was a master tech for many years and he tested the injector wiring and it was reading full voltage (13+) volts, he said it was only supposed to read 5 volts.

I read somewhere on here that the idle control valve was part of the throttle position sensor, i'm not sure if that is accurate, but if it is you might be stuck replacing the tps.

poss boost leak, check your injectors, fuel filters, tps sensor, coil pack, and check for shaft play on the turbo. Also check the intercooler and piping for oil. then let us know.

I bought a set of white gauge faces from ebay, (never again) I had to pull the needles off to fit them on. Now they don't seem to read right anymore, is there a way to recalibrate the cluster? I made sure that the needles could move without restriction, but the temp gauge sits alll the way down...

Do you have Advance Auto Parts up there? If you do I'd suggest buying a lifetime warrantied on from them, mine has been going strong for 2 years now with no replacements. Also check your alternator relay.
