Bump, having the same issues.When I put it in neutral, the car creeps forward like it's in drive. I put it in reverse. It sometimes engages then it feels like it hits a brick wall and just stops like something is binding.

You want the sound of an STi? Get an STi. That won't happen in a DSM. Build a 2.3 stroker and get a hta68. I'm sure you'll be happy with the insta boost and torque. Also get a fmic and get on e85 asap. :D

The flywheels are different from fwd and awd. AWD is smaller diameter, FWD is larger diameter. The starters are the same. The starter plates are also different between fwd and awd. ZING!Just swap out the flywheels and get it over with.
Yeah, you can put a 1g in a 2g but your going to have to fabricate up mounts like he did. I don't know how he mounted the front mount but either way, I wouldn't do it. It's not a bolt in affair. The reason it won't work because the 2g has 3 "motor mounts" on the transmission and 1 on the motor...

I currently have a dnp t4 manifold,pte 6776h, 1450cc injectors, 255 pump, 044 inline, afpr, stock cams, 3" exhaust, 4bar omnipower map. Obviously run SD, anti-lag/2 step, etc. etc.
Tried a bunch of stuff, still nothing. Used a cobalt drill bit, and nothing. I'm just going to make a bracket and if it breaks, screw it. Get a new block I suppose then.
Well the bolt is broken off in the block. The problem is, I can't drill this bolt out. We tried putting slots in it to hammer it out. Heating it up, and all that jazz. Nothing. I don't know what to do anymore to get this sucker out. Should I maybe make a bracket with a pin to hold that in place...
