Got my Calan can in yesterday and polished it today. It turned out great and needed very little work to polish to a mirror shine. I am very impressed and recommend anyone that is looking to get a catch can to pick up one from Calan!I went with -10 inlets and a -12 outlet. Before:After:
LOL they feel great, maybe a little soft, but i've driven cars where the brakes start grabbing when you even look at the brake pedal and I hate it. These however are great. I might upgrade to the 17/16 master eventually but for right now there perfect. No squeal to speak of, I applied a liberal...

He is right the proper way to make a ground is to have a solid metal to metal connection by removing paint. You also want the shortest grounds possible, so running one the entire length of the car is not ideal.
Not really impressed sorry. Like Hal said..."I see a poorly thought out build with money spent for the bling factor." A few of your mods are listed twice for completely different parts. Such as the AEM ignition module and then a new coil pack, topline front case with oil pump (really?) and then...
You don't have a torn gasket. If you don't put rtv on the tensioner bolts then it will weep oil. I didn't do this on my first rebuild and learned my lesson. Just put some rtv on the bolts, put the tensioner back in and with the belt off put a drill on the oil pump and spin it for 20 seconds...
So all ive been hearing about the last month is this contest my sister is in. She needs people to go and like her video. At the end of october whoever has the most likes wins free lasik. So PLEASE for the sake of my ears (to shut her up) go like her video. Thanks...
No I didn't I ordered mine direct from PR. The link you linked me to looks similar but the uicp is different. Mine is 2 pieces (One large and one 90* direct off the intercooler) where as that has 3 pipes. Send a pm to the seller and ask if they come with the bar but I don't think they do, thats...
It was super easy for me I it only took me about 30min to trim it to fit and I kept my vertical pieces. Here are some other pics of it installed. I cut the 1g flange off and tig'd an hks flange on it.The HKS cast flange was a bi*** to weld way too many impurities and it was a real...
Cant wait to see the pics! I've been debating to use KMV's brackets or the jdm galant knuckles. I don't really like the angled look that KMV's brackets give them.
Hopefully someone responds fast. How do you remove the white fuel pump connector from the housing? I bent my feed tube and have everything off the housing except the connector. Thanks,
Wade
I did my headliner in black microsuede. It only took around 2 hours to do and that was with me taking my time. I personally would do black suede headliner and if you have time black suede seats with red stitching.
I would definitely go to jack if I were you. He does great work, and hes semi local to you. Hes in Colorado springs. When I get mine built i'm taking it to him because I can save on shipping and talk to him in person which is always a plus.
wow way to be a dick...does it say on the site they are back ordered? NO...did you say you emailed dsmparts? NO. I was just trying to help you out. Damn with an attitude like yours no wonder no one wants to sell to you.Good day sir!
AHH i was looking it up under 1995 year thats why it wasnt coming up. I love your build btw. Id give me a lot of motivation to work on mine :hellyeah:.Well back to the garage!
Autometer ultra lite II gauges have the numbers that are translucent they are silver thou. The phantom II gauges are white and have the translucent numbers too. Those would work well if you wanted gauges that matched.
Heres how she sits right now...waiting for the block back from the machine shop...and $$$LOLAnd here are some pics of the interior i just finished doing. Its black suede...real suede not that fake micro fiber crap!
That looks awesome! I have a set of evo 8 rims that im going to put on my 2g talon. First im going to powder coat them black. You have given me new inspiration to get that going! Thanks
Theres like 15ish screws holding it on. First you have to un screw a foam piece and then you can get to all of them. I covered mine in black suede, its easy. just make sure you take your time and smooth it all out and let the spray adhesive tack before you put the new fabric on or the adhesive...
If its hard to put back in its because your trying at too high of an angle. Thats what messed me up. Just take your time and dont force it and youll get it back in.
THANK YOU! I swear some people on this forum have NO common sense at all!! You ####ed up completely, be a man and take the consequences of YOUR actions!:nono:
