There is some one who is doing an RWD Evo with 4G63 from a DSM. Most (if not all) of the work is being done by a local(ish) shop called Force Power.. I think they have an account on here, but I don't think the build is posted here. Was posted on an evo board though.
Do you mind if I ask what wasn't compatible? For most students who require basic things like office- it exists on mac as well. PLus there are many free alternatives which are fully compatible with Office for windows..Unless it was a class specific type of program? Also, you could have...
Your right, most people DON'T neeed that. My point is once you factor in the correct parts.. and not just nay off the shelf component the prices are not that bad.Plus, the monitors aren't just for graphic design. Graphic designers just like IPS panel monitors because the color is very exact...
I don't understand.. I build my own computers as well (i just buy macs as well..) so I am aware of pricing differences. You say you can buy a BETTER CPU than a mac for 40 dolalrs.. But then say you can't find a core i7 for 40 dolalrs.. The current mac line up (i am speaking iMacs as that is...
Was this targeted towards me? because I never denied that they are used in the consoles ( I am well aware of that). I just said apple no longer uses the processors in their computers, the point of powerPC processors are useless.Any ways, I think windows 7 really has it right. At this point...
Great thing is the OSX install disc comes with a free programming environment, which is fairly decent.. As well as c++ compiler. Pretty decent if I do say so my self.. though personally I like Visual studio better (as I was taught on that). Why should they allow it on other hardware? Does the...
I have switched ove the the mac side. I used to be a hardcore windows user since I was 6-7 (23 now). I switched to macs 2 years ago and have not looked back. The build quality on Apple products are AMAZING, and they are generally aesthetically pleasing. The price on macs (to those who think...
Picked up the car. When my buddy was moving it (it had to be pulled by a truck) the person in the car didn't steer and it crashed into a wooden deck. The drivers side quarter panel is all dented.I ended up paying 700 for the car.. Not too bad, I wil try to pull the dent and hope the paint is...
Picking up a new 2G this week.
97 tsi awd has around 250,000km on it.
Small 16g. FMIC, boost gauge, air/fuel ration gauge, MBC, after market rad, alarm.3" Turbo back. Extra skirts, extra rear hatch...1100 from a friend... All it needs is a transmission and front wheel bearing :hellyeah:
Thanks all for the replies!Probably.. I even have a spare engine for the GSX. But, the 95 needs body work and paint. I want to do that before I put in another engine. I have no cash for that so I will just swap the transmissions for now :DThanks again!
Hey, I have a question.
I am picking up a 97 AWD with a blown transmission. I have a 95 GSX just sitting there (with a blown motor).I have been searching about swapping over the transmission and I am finding 2 different answers. Can I swap just the 95 Transmission+Tcase to the 97? Or do...
I made a small "table" that screwed into the long MDF on the side.(red part is the table... Black is my sucky shifter drawing :p)I think I still have the "blue prints" (which I found online) for it. I will try and find them and upload them for you guys so you can make one.
Though I...
Yep just PVC and some MDF wood. It is really strong too. I did a "stress test" on it. Shook it like crazy put a lot of weight on the table part where the wheel mounts to. Light weight (heaviest part is the seat) + Strong :).
By dsmgraveyard they mean here
DSM Graveyard - Your #1 Source for DSM Parts!
Not a regular junkyard ;)Also, if you need new skirts now would be the perfect time to upgrade to the 97-99 Eclipse skirts. They are nicer ;)
Or even the 95-96 Talon skirts. They are nice as well :)
I wish, but I don't have the know how to do that. Takes a lot of hardware knowledge and some reverse engineering skills to do that. Thanks for the reply, this is the type of feedback I am looking for. Hopefully I can get some more feedback by the time I am done one of my current games and see...
Won't be doing that. There already is an app (as you said) and recreating an app to be cheaper is not economical for me. Plus I don't really have any interest in such an app. This mobile VFAQ would be something I could personally make use of. Plus I will be using it as a base for another app...
I am currently in the process of creating a few iPhone games and apps, and occasionally see posts on some (dsm) forums asking if dsm based iPhone app exists.Any ways, I am thinking of writing an app (after one of my current projects are completed, so probably after June or July) that...
Hey check out http://www.ca.dsm.org it is a Canadian board. There are always cars for sale there. And lots of people to help you buy a car (Very kind community, I am sure if you ask nicely someone experienced will go with you to look at a car)
I had an aftermarket deck in my glove box (put a 7"VGA touch screen for a carputer where the radio is supposed to go)The stock harness is a tad short, but if you have an after market head unit+ harness it should make it the perfect length.
Mine was also the perfect size to fit with no hacking...
Of course you would..... You bought the wrong car once (N/T DSM), clearly you didnt learn your lesson ;)Just kiddingROFL ..But truthfully the 2.0T is the car to get.
Hate to say it........ But I told you so :coy:
Just go buy the upgrade discs from any apple store, best buy or what ever. The $29.99 disk lets you do a clean install and is the same copy as the 150dollar box set.
Why would they?? It is their OS for their specific hardware. I cant play Xbox games on my playstation, or PS3 games on my Xbox. And yes, apples memory is incredibly expensive and overpriced. But it is there as an option for people not capable of upgraing their own hardware or even able to find...
You can get the snow leopard upgrade disc for 29.99 USD.. IT lets you do a clean install!
The 150 is for the box set which you do not need!
The dics in the ebay ad may not work for your macbook. They are the included restore disks that come with macs, and they are tied to that specific model...
I have (had) it in my 2GA Eclipse GSX.. Though I swaped out most of it for the grey.. Left the dash as I decided to dye it all black eventually.
Not a fan of it personally.
$320 for my 92 Tsi AWD, has about 250,000 km on it. Stock. Almost every thing works, only had to change the rad fan, a fuse and needs new tires. No rust.. Poor paint... Has an exhaust leak and some bad idle surge.
Otherwise it is a Perfect winter car :D
I'd rather go by the OBDII website, and my personal trials with different code readers.I am not denying the fact that the 2G is OBDII, but the 95's are not fully comliant by the OBDII standards that cars after 96 where.
Also why data loggers like Evo scan or MHI scan have a hard time...
I hardly consider this proof. The 95's had an OBDII port, but as mentioned before it was an early adaption by mitsubishi. As I said above A LOT of code readers can not read the 95's. :rolleyes:http://www.obdii.com/connector.htmlCheck there, 95s were not fully OBDII Compliant.
Actually the 95s and 96's are neither OBDII or OBDI, they are closer to OBDII, but don't have the same functions. A lot of OBDII scanners and readers can not read the 95s.
A lot of N/A people buy the N/A Because they don't know any better.
They think it is the same car, and cheaper.. They will just turbo it later (or swap the motor). Then when it is too late they learn that it is a whole different beast and just live with it, or try and sell for a turbo model.
If you cut out the ducting that is inside it makes it quieter.. As you noticed.
Things you can do:
-Change the rubber recirculation tube to a metal one
-Change to a metal hard pipe, or build your own using the stock rubber snorkel (Cut out the middle part where it is bendy, and put in a 3" or...
I live at home, and we have a 2 car garage.
My parents are pretty awesome with it. I had my talon in there for a whole year while I parted it out, and then I stored my eclipse in there to work on as well.. While they had their car outside all winter.Sort of what it looked like while I was...
Yeah mine currently does the same thing except I have not done the injector plugs yet.. But my eprom ecu needs some repairs so was hoping I could get this working instead :thumb:
I have a 98 ecu (flashable one, with the same board as yours) in my 95.. I switched the spark plug wires and get misfires..
Is it possible to fix this with openecu as well? Sort of like how dsmlink does it (but opposite)?
It comes installed with openoffice... Open office is compatible with all the Microsoft office suits, and is free (for windows, max, and linux):hellyeah:
