We put 3" 02 elim downpipes on T3/T4 turbos all the time. Trust me it helps a lot when are wanting to get better response from the turbo.We have been doing this on the GT35R turbo kits for the EVO 8 and have been getting great reponse from a turbo that supports 700hp.

We always recommend getting the manifold coated. It makes the sensors under your hood last longer. It keeps the under hood temps down as well. I believe our Thermal coat is around a $100 option.The equal length manifold will make more power over our standard manifold easily.

No old school technology here, since PTE says their 5 bolt housing flows more than the 4 bolt Garrett housing.Also the equal length manifold will make a lot more top end power along with a better power band.

A good street core with short routed piping would meet your goals perfectly. The reason it would be better than a Greddy or Apexi is because of the more efficient core and better piping set up.Us along with a couple other companies sell some great set ups for reasonable prices.
