    do the compression test and pull the valve cover off to see how the top of the head looks...good stock internals can hold 8 easy...I used to have a 96 std that would run fine under 10lbs at the track, 5psi daily, put the turbo on at 136000 and ran fine til I got rid of it at 164000

    trying to find a crank for my 6 bolt 4g63 and noticing that the 85-92 model 4g64 has a 6 bolt crank so I can keep my flywheel. Based on my research, both cranks use the same main bearings so I should be able to just get stronger than OE main bearings for the 4g63 or 4g64 (whichever is cheaper)...

    I am pretty sure it's a 6 bolt, because the oil pump gaskets for a 94 seven bolt or 96 model don't line up at all. The gasket for the 90 model eclipse fits but it just doesn't have the guide holes in the gasket. I just want to make sure it's actually a 6 bolt block and has 12 mm head bolts so...
