99 is rare, and it is clean, but unless you really have a true appreciation for the 3s you may want to consider an Evo. They are easier to work on, cheaper to mod/repair, newer making it most likely more reliable.I love my 3s, wouldn't trade it for the world but I've wanted one since I was in...
My neighbor across the street called the HOA on me for a small patch of clovers, which I was already treating (takes about 3-5 days to kill them the right way without destroying your grass). Anyway, yeah, now my dog gets to shit in their yard on our walks.
They all say Mitsubishi under the hood regardless of the make or model. As for the single, twins are just more efficient so you rarely see a single turbo swap.As for HP.. no one really has pushed these cars on stock blocks like the Supra and DSM side of things have. I'm personally aiming for...
That's kind of the point.. I haven't seen an Anti-3s thread here in a long time. Your thread causes unwanted attention to the theory you have. I was a DSMr for 12 years.. never hated any 3s or 3s owners. I always thought these cars were beautiful but out of my price range in more ways than one...
I run DR650's.. gonna need something more than 750's to take on a GTR unless it's completely stock to lightly modded. They have much more aggressive gearing and can make over 600 on stock turbos.
Interesting read so far.. still, no hostility towards DSM's. I made the change because I've been doing DSM's since 1999. I don't expect to be the fastest thing on wheels, but I will have some fun with the car. I enjoy having a car that people ask "Wtf kind of car is that?" I'm constantly...
Still have a long way to go but I have alot of the excess wiring and tubing cleaned up. Cruise control has been deleted among a few other things. I'm anxious to get in and redo the plumbing for the FMIC and the coolant.to give you an idea of how far it's come..A stock 1996 RT/TT
I've heard to much from to many idiots.. I actually like to let them talk and have some fun at their expense. Most of them are to dense to figure out what I'm doing.
True but 260-280 reliably versus 300 for 30 minutes until the bearing gives. Not to mention the machining is horrible and they flow like complete shit. You'd be lucky to make power at all.
IMO, saving that small amount of money for a temporary fix is pointless. Why spend money twice? Do it right the first time even if it cost you a little bit more.
Hopefully the FRS and BRZ sales will enfluence them to make another variation of a bottom line price for moderate performance car again. I read an article a few weeks back stating that they may return but after a reboot, not unlike that of the Camaro.
ATR single out on 91 Stealth RT/TT. - YouTubeI am told I sound like a 350z going down the road all the time.. People need to get it straight, THEY SOUND LIKE ME! Not the other way around. lol*camera phone just doesn't capture sound well :( *
I promise you there will be a TRD/STi equivalent.. with boost. The platform begs for it and I'm sure the sales will support it. I never buy a car that is the 1st year, 1st model.. they always hold something back for later.
Oh I am aware of the numbers.. but how many Stealth's do you actually see driving around? I rarely see a 3si brother when driving around.. when I go to any meet, I'm usually the only Stealth and most times the only 3si.
You need to harden up man. Especially if you make the money and pay the bills. You need to tell her what the plan is and if she doesn't like it she can leave. Plenty of other fish in the sea.
3sx.com has a ton of aftermarket parts and they are similar to say a Extremepsi for 3SI's. More of a vendor even though they have a couple exclusive items. But you are right.. They are harder to find parts for and when you do you will pay a premium. There are places that make items for this car...
Yeah, 6900. 10,000 Miles on the new motor. It's a 93.5+ shortblock with forged crank and rods. Even had a few more goodies on it like the Teins. I saw the car, the 7,000 was literally about to go to a parts order for my Spyder and I just HAD to buy this. I rarely change projects like that but...
A couple more :)crooked plate ftw.. and it's not even registered to the car lol.Vids will come soon, getting a GoPro Cam or two. Will also video the Tune.
Picked it up for 6900.. so I had to. New motor, DR650 turbos (on WG atm until tune on Pro EFI), full ATR exhaust, and a bit more. Granted, I plan on going bigger, but not before I see what I can do on these turbos.
A 1991 Dodge Stealth RT/TT. Lots of changes coming, but at least I have a good start. It is so clean it makes my 97 look like a mess.. I just had to pull the trigger. Not to say I'll never own a DSM again.Photo's are taken by a good friend of mine, Khiem. I owe him a buffalo chicken sandwich.
I'm no fan of spiders, but they are only half the issue here.. Scorpions are so much more common and I cannot keep my shit straight when running into one in the garage.
Yeah.. he gave me prices that were crazy high too. For some reason it costs the same in shipping for everything as it does to purchase the product. Even on smaller parts that don't require special boxing. I.E. a Deforster vent for 10 bucks, and costs 10 bucks to ship? No thank you. I've sold...
