Came across this spyder gst a couple years ago in my local pick-a-part in Mesa, AZ. I couldn't find anything wrong with this car. This yard refuses to sell whole cars. 15+ years ago I remember seeing decent awd cars all the time in the junkyard. I've unsuccessfully tried to buy a few from the...
This is a spare 1991-94, 1g throttle body that was rebuild with a lot of nos oem parts. The main body was rebuilt with new shaft seals. All of the steel hardware including the cable attach arm were professonally replated in yellow zinc. The fiav, fiav gasket, isc, tps, biss and idle switch are...
I have a spare 6 bolt head. This head was installed on an engine that came with my laser. Engine vin indicates that it was from a 91 Talon. I have never ran this head but I was told the engine ran by the previous owner. I see no evidence of damage or bent valves. Asking $250. Price includes...
All new 1g thermostat housing. The upper and lower housings are new old stock from Mitsubishi, new old stock thermostat, new oem cap, new oem sensors, new oem thermostat gasket. The hardware is original that has been replated professionally in yellow zinc. This is mint and ready to install...
If there is damage to the hole in the cam you run the risk of messing up the new dowel pin. If that pin goes it could cost you a topend. Stock cams are cheap just get another one.
https://jnztuning.com/product/oem-shifter-cables-galant-vr-4/#The shifter cables and bracket has been discontinued. These galant vr4 shifter cables work great. I put a set in my 92 GSX last month.
Your asking the wrong question. Boost isn't how anyone rates an engines strength. 20psi on a 16g and 20psi on a 35r are not equal even though they are both 20psi, the volume of air is greater on the 35r and both turbos at 20psi will produce completely different amounts power. You need to figure...
False.. The 4g64 sohc is super thin between the crown and the top ring. This is where the piston is weak. All of the turbo dsm pistons are more than double the thickness in this area. Maybe he had something different. Perhaps a 6 bolt version. Tell your boy to get a pic and post it up. Here is a...
My t28 had a cracked exhaust housing and bad wastegate. I ordered new genuine garrett parts from atp turbo. If you send them the part number, they should be able to get you a new comp housing.
That purple one is a $92 ebay special. The silver one is a big t28 according to the part number on the tag. Google the number. It does have a different compressor housing, probably off a nissan turbo. The dsm housing it would have came with should have an elbow on the outlet.
It might not have come from the dealer that way. I installed wind up windows, installed manual mirrors, deleted the cruise control (even swapped in a non-cruise column) and deleted the power steering on my old 91 gsx. It was all factory oem stuff that could be found everywhere in the junkyards...
The 2 hoses connect on the engine side of the firewall. A bad connection will not leak inside the car. You have a bad heater core. Maybe it got a puncture before being installed.
You should plug in the maf before trying to start it. Figure out whats going on with your cam angle sensor. 1999 should have one on the side of the head. Might have a 95-96 style inside the camgear. If thats the case check the wiring and make sure its done right. Your injector plugs indicate...
+1, I installed one in my 91 gsx awhile back, its suprising how much of the front suspension has to be losened or removed to get the steering racks in and out.
Not cheap... Its a red/black 91 Talon, 20g, cams, tuned at 360awhp, dude wants $4k. I was thinking about buying it. Just not sure if I'm ready for 2 1g's.There's a thread in the classifieds on azawd.org on the car.
The 1990 heads have smaller coolant passages. Other that that, all 1g heads are nearly identical, the n/t's have different cams and turbo cams vary slightly year to year. There is a plug where the oil line attaches on n/t heads as previously mentioned. The 1990-1992.5 heads are 6 bolt and use...
Definatly not a bolt on affair, as the subframe is setup quite different. I am curious about transplanting the gears into a dsm rack, that would be sic. I had an Evo for 3 years and the steering feel is incredible.Would the difference in width be a problem, when I had both cars I measured...
The Evo5 uses an forged aluminum arm similar to ours. They can be found on ebay.uk or lancerregister.com in the classifieds. The Evo 5 was the first year they used a widebody so the dimensions may not be the same, but its something to think about.
Childs&Alberts makes the best assembly lube. Avoid the cheap crap from autozone and don't ever use the white stuff. Royal Purple makes good product, do a google search and see if its a repected lube with the v8 guys, if so, go for it.Topline bearings are probally ok. Using different main and...
