I'm talking about after doing an ECU reset. I'm starting from the beginning and making sure it works after resetting the ECU. My ISC is not acting correctly after an ECU reset. So why should I assume its working correctly other times?
I'm only talking about DSMs here. This info is straight from the ECMtuning website and other trusted websites I've seen that discuss DSM ISC operation and testing. The car has never ran correctly under its current configuration, I've had it dyno tuned twice and both times never got thru a full...
Hey guys,My ISC has been having issues for awhile and I'm really trying to fix it now to get this car working right. The ISC will retract when the key is turned to the ON position after shutting off power for at least 30 minutes, rather than fully extend. So far I've swapped ISC, checked the...
Does anyone have a better write up? I'm trying to get my wheel to be straight and true and its not working out so well. Hoping there is a trick someone came up with to make this easier. Thanks!
Agreed. I heard they unplugged their phone lines to avoid dealing with it. That's just unacceptable. I gave up on them years ago, these aren't new issues. Using the pandemic as the excuse is just that.....an excuse. I've made 7+ orders to extremepsi during the past 3 months and had zero issues.
I know some people have modified throttle cables to shorten them up. Post up pictures and how you did it. The non-cruise, throttle cable is a lot longer than needed and I'm tired of looking at all that slack lol.
Whats out there for coil on plug options that have been proven on a 4G63? I'm talking about DIY, not shop made setups. I know of 300m and GSXR, but what else has been use?
Does anyone have a carbon creations front lip on their 2g? I just bought one and mocked it up on my OEM style aftermarket front bumper. It fits horrible. The sides don't line up at all with the bumper. I was just wondering if other people had this issue, or if it was just my bumper.
I'm to the point now where the stock crankcase ventilation isn't enough. Right now I just have a vented JNZtuning catch can with the stock ports on the valve cover. I'd like to utilize the -12an bung I welded onto the front balance shaft hole while building the motor. I was planning on just...
Just run Russel proflex -6an hose. I've been using it for years with zero issues. Its special Teflon lined for high pressure applications like power steering.
Has anyone ever swapped the connectors from a 96+ harness for the MFI/fuel pump relays onto a 95 harness?
The reason why I'm doing this is I have known working relays from my 97 harness and none for my 95 harness I'm using right now for a tuck. The only issue I have found is the 95 harness has...
I did a search in this thread but couldn't find a specific answer. When my AWD swap was done they used the GST driveshaft bracket and added the studs needed. This means I'm missing the mounts for my exhaust. What have you guys done to fix this? I really don't want to weld something onto the...
I'm looking for pictures of a 2g AWD thermal exhaust installed on the car. I bought mine used and I think some hangers are missing or something. The exhaust has been modified. Thanks
I'm doing a mr2 electric power steering conversion and I need to know which line coming out of the steering rack is the high pressure and which is the low pressure. Also if anyone knows which port each need to go to on a 92-95 mr2 pump. Thanks!
I picked up a set of 18x9.5 et 20 wheels and 235/40/18 tires. Now I'm trying to fit them on the rear of my car. Has anyone modified their rear wheel wells more then just rolling? I'm planning on running some camber but i don't want a crazy amount.
I picked up a fuel injector clinic fuel rail with no fittings and was wondering what I need for fittings? What will work with the rail? Its an older style rail.
I ended up passing on those wheels, now I'm looking at the new work emotion cr ultimate rim. 18x9.5 Work usa said I need to run a 20 offset to fit oem evo brakes. how will these fit?
I came across a pretty good deal for a set of work wheels and I'm wondering if they will fit. They are 18"x8.5" offset 22, tires are 215/35/18. I'm using eibach sportlines and tokico hp struts. I don't mind running up to 3 degrees camber. Thanks
My 2g is in need of a suspension overhaul, most of the ball joints are bad so pretty much everything is getting changed. I wanna know before I go out buying new OEM, if there are aftermarket or different alternatives to some parts I don't know about. Here's what I'm looking to replace...
When my swap was done, there was never a hole made for the driver's side sending unit. Could I do this while the tank is installed? or will I have to drop the tank?
The gauge isn't working at all. I had the shop that did the awd swap do the wiring but the fuel pump sending unit that I had was junk so I replaced it myself and I'm trying to figure out why its not working. It might be the driver's side sending unit hanging up cause I did take it out at one...
So I'm having issues with my gas gauge. using this diagram:
2G Spyder - FWD To AWD Conversion - Columbus DSM Forums
there's two yellow/black wires on the second sensor and was wondering which one I need to tap into the fuel pump harness?
I picked up this water pipe and I bolted it up tonight and realized the opening for the thermostat housing is way off. Its pointing in the wrong direction. I thought this would work on a 2g turbo thermostat housing. The only way I could see this working is cutting the bracket off of the water...
Alright, I need to know where on the proportion valve that's mounted on the firewall do the rear brake lines go into. I know the top two inlets are for the rear brakes, but which one is for driver's side and which one is for passenger side. I can't just go by the way they are on the firewall...
Alright, has anyone ever painted and refinished their cylinder head? I'm redoing my engine bay and I'd like to put some type of finish on the head to make it look new. I've cleaned it up but it still doesn't look that great. Polishing the head is out of the question right now due to cost...
hmm so really on the solid ones and oem ones are my only options at this point. The problem is I'm getting my subframe powdercoated so I'm assuming I will have to get new ones
I'm gunna be getting my front subframe powdercoat and was wondering if there are aftermarket poly or poly style mounts to replace the stock ones. The ones that actually mount the subframe to the body. I don't want solid ones.
