I'm all about Sublime. It's just feel good music. Puts you in a chill mood and makes the day better I guess. I just hate all the lame ass bandwagon people that go ape shit if they play it in the club/bar and think the band is new. There is a tribute band that comes around NC quite...
Here are some pics of my hood. The center section has some blue ice pearl. The side flames fade up. Carbon fiber shows through at the bottom. (U can't tell from the pic) It has to be in pretty decent light to tell. It's kandy cobalt blue.
I honestly haven't met many DSMers in NC that don't think they are God or something. 90% of them seem to think they are better than everyone.
If your overdrive isn't working, check the fuse box under the dash. Check the reverse light fuse. It controls the O/D. :thumb: If it keeps blowing, get the console out and check for a stripped wire.
So what is the best way to do this? (Structurally) I have seen a lot that aren't fiberglass at all, but fleece soaked in resin. Someone told me to use fiberglass cloth and resin. Will that hold up without cracking/breaking? I am going to attempt to build an enclosure soon. Key word there is...
I heard Greece was really dirty. :p Like after being out all day, you can see the dirt after washing off or just from wiping your face. But I bet it'd still be fun somehow.
I have a momo trek. It's a pretty nice looking wheel and it's very comfortable. It's small and has the flat bottom as well. I think I have pics in my gallery. :thumb:
Not bad... but too plain for a show car IMO. Needs more pearl atleast. Tail lights don't look right. They are too close together. It's not so bad tho. Better than my attempt at making a show car.
Fiberglass doesn't crack when you know how to drive with common sense. Just don't scrape it... or buy good stuff. The only bumper I busted was busted on a big dog at 50 MPH. My bomex scrapes all the time, but it hasn't cracked. I'm putting a CF splitter on too. :p Just gotta be careful.
The shop I go to says that you do not want a red car b/c red paints always cost a lot more than other colors. So, good luck. There are lots of places that sell paint tho. I always go to O'Reilly. Some of them sell paint. :thumb:
At the track, it isn't smart, but you could show them where your safety cord or button is to open the door from the outside. I wouldn't do it, but if you REALLY want to run that bad...
My mom insisted that I drive her new car the 2nd day we had it. (Less than 24 hours) Some guy ran a stop sign, then rear ended me while traffic was stopped. He floored it in reverse, but when there was nowhere to go and I was already about to open his door, he cut the car off... Then his...
Good job. Who cares if it's an adult or minor? I'd hit anyone that cracked my bumper. I wouldn't just brush that off. Sucks that people have to be so lame all the time.
The hoods 99% of people have aren't really full carbon fiber. They are made of mostly fiberglass. But they still save weight and look pretty cool IMO. I don't like them without some paint to help blend them with the car. Just personal preference, but it looks like a primered kit or something to...
Some people try to go to jail so they can have food and shelter. It's gonna be like a resort behind bars if they keep on. Our justice system is a joke. Cops harass all the wrong people. Laws come out to piss us off and not do any real good, and now the real criminals get to have fun and be...
I was about to post exactly that. That expression is the universal "Dude, are you serious?" expression. I was also thinking "Are you F###ING KIDDING ME!?!?!?" :p
I used Oops. You have to use some elbow grease to get that crap off. Oops can be found in the paint section at Wal-Mart and hardware stores usually. :thumb: It's clear coat safe, blah blah blah. Everytime someone needs some stubborn stuff removed, I act like the spokesperson for this stuff...
Use RM paint and you can mix it a certain way to make it a dye. Check my gallery. It matches the car, but it's not shiny. It's different and not too expensive to do. :thumb:
either powdercoating or having a bodyshop paint them would be best. Self painted wheels would not look as good as either of those methods, unless you are familiar with prep and paint.
Atleast you wouldn't have to crawl in under the door that doesn't swing up far enough to allow easy entry. Lambo doors just don't look practical imo. Looks like it'd be a pain to get in the car. :thumbdown
I wouldn't say the RS is safer. 1 of my friends was killed when some ricer got pissed and swerved at him at about 120. :| But yeah, it depends on what you hit. A pile of busted up parking lot isn't very forgiving while your car is flipping end over end. :thumbdown
You can't get sponsorships by posting on forums and asking for free stuff. You have to have a serious car that attends a lot of shows and/or races 1st off. And secondly, you have to submit a professional proposal. Nobody will build your car for you unless you have a honda. You have to take it so...
I have steel bars going to the front, which have screws coming from the underside of the bumper and into the bars. The bars are attached the the radiator support. :thumb:
It depends on the civic. I pulled a modded EX on the highway. Granted, I didn't pull hard, but I pulled. I have an auto RS too. You 5 speed guys should be waxing them.
The write-up I posted earlier on says to cut the wire on the brake light switch. For some reason, it has something to do with the converter lockup. On autos (95-99), if your overdrive goes out, it's usually the reverse light fuse. That doesn't really seem like it would be related, but it is. I...
Aggressor front is about the same height as stock I believe. Most kits will be lower. Bomex is 2" lower than stock, but I dunno the measurements. The aggressor is smaller than most fronts.
