Okay well buddy told me he had same problem and he said it was valve stems. How can i check to make absoultly sure its the turbo or not.WTF

Yea my hands were pretty dirty and i noticed fresh oil too. So its the turbo then i guess.... i knew it from the beginning... So are you pretty sure dude? Last thing i want to do is change the turbo and same problem:(

Took off lower intercooler pipe and yes there is oil in there, fresh oil and some dark old oil. Pretty dirty in there....also turbo runs pretty hot.

Sorry i feel stupid, are you talkin about the valves in the turbo? Or the valves in the engine...., what do you mean by guides.:coy:

Yea its atmosphere so that one is solved. Can bad valve stems be repaired or be cleaned or is there products that help it? Or just replace the turbo

Anyone else think its the seals on the turbo? Smoke comes out when engine is warm and at idle, and its blueish kinda smoke. Yes when you boost and let go of throttle black smoke comes out.

Whining was solved... was leak on BOV. Check for shaftplay took of intake pipe, wiggled it up and down side to side and in and out. Didn't really notice must shaftplay a little bit up and down. How can you really tell if its little or too much?

Whining noise was solved was boost leak on vacum tube too the BOV. I did deleted my # i don't know why it still says that. But anyways ya guys still only happens when the car is warm, so im guesing thats when the turbo gets warm as well. I checked for shaftplay i barely even notice any, maybe...

Any other suggestions, weird part its fine for like 20 min of driving when engine gets warm it starts doing it. Only notice at idle too....not when im driving.... really confused. If it was HG wouldn't it be hard to start the car? Coolant would be all dirty? But i have none of those...

See i thought it was white but im blind because my buddy said it was blue and i noticed it as well. Plus if it was headgasket it would have troubles starting, coolant would be dirty, but all those are fine. Plus did compression test and everything was fine. So are you saying lucas oil...

Okay about the turbo clean up, should i take it out or spray that carb cleaner stuff i use for my throttle body in the turbo and clean whatever i can reach. Also what is this lube and where do you apply it too?

Lucas oil treament is the stuff you put in your gas tank. How would i clean the turbo? Just take off the intake tube and spray carb cleaner in the turbo? Or take the whole turbo out? I cleaned throttle body like 1 month ago. And what should i use to lube up the turbo and where exactly should...

Thats the thing im not running high boost at all i believe last time i checked it was only 12psi. Plus i just want to get it fixed so i can sell my car. Thanks wisemen for the advice i will be doing a compression test, but the link for the leak down test doesn't work....
