Well I'm not sure how much boost your engines can handle but the 2.3L turbo fords can handle a hell of alot on stock internals.What kind of boost and hp can the 4G63T's with stock internals handle?Darryl

Personally I would go oil pressure but if you feel like ditching your A/F guage for something more accurate for measuing rich or lean conditions, I would go Boost, EGT and oil pressureDarryl

Man hook up your EGR again that will help. The EGR or (exhaust gas recirculator) basicly recirculates a portion of your exhaust back though your intake for the excess fuel (HC) to be reburned, thus lowering your HC count. Also If you have bumped up the fuel pressure at all lower it and also...

Just thought I would point out that with higher compression ratio you can't run as much boost as you could with lower compression ratio. However with higher compression you would have more off boost power.Just thought I'd throw that out there Darryl

No you do not need to take the turbo off to install a boost guage. You just tap into a vaccum line that doesn't have a check valve in it. I just tapped into a spare port on my vaccum tree when I installed my boost guage.Good luck!Darryl
