    SD Tuning Question

Thanks I have been using that as my tuning guide. Turns out it may be a problem with my SD table / and a need to re-enable airflow smoothing. http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/sd-wot-pull-suggestions.484556/ I am going to give that a shot here in the next few weeks and see what happens.

Is it a sensor, if so which will cause this?

my 99 GSX (175k miles) does this as well, after checking fuel, wires, plugs, knock sensor, the lot. I still ended up with no root cause. so I tossed a bottle of sea foam at it. half in the tank, half sucked through the intake. Cleared up the knock issue, and the morning jerks as she came up to...

    China made exhaust manifold?

Also these are still available new (~$100) from places like autozone, and come with limited (1 year) limited warranty. I have done stock, and cracked it, slowboy and cracked it. my Forced performance is holding but it has only seen one weekend, and the runners are huge. most if not all of em...

New To the Forum and DSM.

I third that, Some cars handle the lack of re circulation better than others. i.e. the 3000gts / stealths seem to work fine without it.

    not holding boost

Don't forget, if its your first boost gauge in a 2G, the stock setup will not hold 12-13 all the way to redline. she piddles out around 6k or so and starts to fall.

Why does my car idle better with AFPR vacuum hose off?!

I had a similar problem this summer as well, Turned out that the o-ring between the fuel pump and the fuel pump housing / mount had been torn during the installation. The result was it would build about 35 lbs of pressure but that was all the rest of the fuel would just bleed out in the tank.

    Alternator belt squealing? Read this

Same problem here. After startup sometimes it squeals, sometimes not. Generally not, however in many cases I can control it by which accessories are on immediately following startup. Such as turning on headlamps, internal fans, rear defrost; the additional loading will cause the alternate belt...

    Reaching out in Atlanta

For the most part yes it did this for the whole trip down. I didn't understand the severity of the fail however as i was doing my best to keep the boost down during the break in. So really no WOT pulls until i got to the track. Logger shows no knock and low O2 The O2 sensor was new with the...

    Reaching out in Atlanta

Reaching out in Atlanta Hello boys and girls. I need some help, I am in Atlanta for the weekend at an event at Road Atlanta. Unfortunately my 92 has had some teething issues. Long story short it was a rescue car that I bought from a guy 6 years ago and have been in the slow process of...

    lower control arm help??

I have found that they don’t always go in from the bottom, and generally need to be slid in from the side. If you attempt to force it from the bottom it will appear as though there isn't enough room. Even then they do require a few hits but no great amount of force should be required.

    Weighted shift knob

My intent was only to enlighten as to the fact the two where one in the same, only because it came as quite a surprise to me, and I had not seen it sold in the manner you say some do.

    Weighted shift knob

Evo Carnage at AMS Track day

I kinda figured this would be a great idea for a race shop to put on a track day, its kinda like a window salesman giving away sling shots to 10year olds :sneaky:

Yes one might be able to chalk it up to me being a little naive. And Yes well it could be I just haven't found the right people here to talk to yet.
