    200whp 206wtq... disappointment. Sound right?

Super old thread just seeing this now.Car would only make 16 psi at peak tq and fall to 10-11 psi of boost, It made about 220 fttq at peak tq, Maybe I gave you the wrong graph or you read it wrong. Nate said he didn't want to set any records so we didn't really push the car it was a t25 and...

    hx40- 682whp/573tq

Just was doing a little looking around for some dyno numbers to compare. I really like this HX40, first one I've tuned on a built motor. On a Mustang Dyno it made 585 hp and 505 Tq at 37 psi. Its close to 661/570 if you want to throw 13% at the MD number to compare to Dynojet. Tried to turn...

Junk! Don't buy crap ebay/china cable. Its not the same. Get some quality cable from a Stereo shop, or use some welding cable. It makes a huge difference.

    My new crankcase evacuation system

It uses a coledence ( I have no clue how to spell that) filter. Zero oil passes through, well maybe .01 %It's the best catch can on the market. I swear by it.

    My new crankcase evacuation system

No oil in the intake as well. The smaller can I had I would collect a small amount of oil, but with the dual in/out there is zero. I was kind of shocked. The system works very well. Great job!
  18. turbobrian

    My new crankcase evacuation system

Just a quick update on the dual catch can. Made several 1/4 passes as well as 10 or so street pulls. Zero oil in the catch can! Just one drop or water.I would say this is the best catch can setup I have used so far. I recommend this to everyone.:thumb:

    My new crankcase evacuation system

Pulled off the turbo intake today to find zero oil. This set-up works very well. I have 2 off my valve cover and 2 off my intake, so if anyone wants this singe can I will sell it so I can have Calan build me a dual. Even though I don't think dual is necessary for most people I just want to...

    My new crankcase evacuation system

Finally got to installing the catch can. I haven't pulled the intake pipe to see if there is oil in it but from just the looks of it it works well. I filled the can with oil and hit it with the air compressor and zero oil was pushed through. I have about half as much oil in the can than...

What is causing my battery to drain slowly

Have your car idle and pull the neg battery terminal off. If the car dies out its a bad alternator.
  22. turbobrian

    My new crankcase evacuation system

No never got around to it because I didn't like how I set it up. I got the catch with with just 1 -10 on the top. I should have had you make a duel inlet on the top like the one on this thread since I have 2 -10 off my valve cover. If anyone wants a -10 in and -10 out I will swap and cash for...

    My new crankcase evacuation system

ahhh ok I really didn't know it had that much flow. Looks good. I bought the same catch setup with his first couple last year and have yet to install it. Looks like we finally have a winning set up here. Great write up.

    My new crankcase evacuation system

Does it really suck 50 lbs a min? The wheel pushes that air but does it suck it at that rate? I do not know the answer. Maybe i'm wrong?
  25. turbobrian

    My new crankcase evacuation system

I also would think you could get more vacuum with the exhaust than intake. the intake is barely moving air and the exhaust is flowing lots of air.

    420A Catch Can

I am going to try this guys catch can. It uses a coalescence filter which is exactly what we need. They are $50 until the 31st $75 after. I have thought of this idea for a long time and just never got a chance to try it. Its worth the $50 to me to get one made.Custom Fabricated DSM Parts

    battery relocation problem

i relocated the battery to the rear of the car. with start up it idles real rough and i can see the voltage guage flicker sort of up and down between 12-14volts for about 2-5 seconds then it runs fine at 14volts. i am wondering if it has anything to do with the relocation. i ran 1 guage...

if you cant get you tranny to shift at 7500 then there is something wrong with your tarnny. my shep trans shifts like butter at 9k. and most people that have the moeny for a dogbox get it. i dont think it has anything to do with hp. i have 500 whp and i would take the shep trans over the dog...

    91 rods strong enough?

there are a few peole in my area who have countless passes on stock 1g 6bolt blocks putting down 500+ to the wheels and run way into the 11's. these motors were over engineered from the get go. but im sure they didnt think they would be putting out what they do.

What kind of clutch do you have / should I get?

hands down the act cluthes are the best. i have used a few different ones and went back to the 2600. i also use the act flywheel and am very happy i did that too. for the money the act is the way to go also. a 2100 with street disk is only $325 and the 2600 with street disk is only $360. the...
