Also you might wanna check the wires. Also start the car up and night and see if you can see the spark plug wire bleeding off spark against a ground. If the insulation of the wire deteriorates for whatever reason it will do this causing a misfire.
I run my fuel cell on the street but they arent "street legal". It wont pass inspection if they notice it but its easy to find someone to pay off. Personally i run a 12 gal because i run e85 but a 10 gal should work. Check out summit racing, thats where i got mine from and they have some good...
If you look closely at the bottom on its opposite as to what our throttle bodies should be. To make it work the IACV and FIAV would have to be on top of the throttle body as opposed to the bottom so i would have to say the top one.You can get a mustang 75mm throttle body from summit for...
Dealer is pretty much your only option for those.Tune up mad style... Not quite sure how to respond to that other than thank god your ruining a non turbo....
I had the exact same clutch in my awd and i did the same thing in all of 300 miles of driving.I lost a race to an mostly stock srt4 because of it :( I just bought it out of boredom and to see how and if it would work and it proved that you get what you pay for.
Hey, i was looking into shifter gates for my car and found nothing but found that quite a few people are interested in them. So i made the call to jm fab and they said if they can get enough interest they would look into creating a setup for our cars (mine being a 2g). So voice up here if you...
The fitting size for the fuel supply line is 14x1.5 a 6an will work but ive heard stories of it leaking and not fitting right. I just got a 14x1.5 female to 6an male to go to my fuel lines and it works great.

thats evocouldnt find an overlay or anythign with timing events :(
I can guarentee they arent the exact same as the evo spins the opposite way but simliar maybe. Ill look it up and compare them and post it up in a bitI personally run the bc280 cams and i installed them straight up and the car runs fine. idle wasnt to bad. Sounded mean as hell.
well an evo is going to respond differently than our motors, and the cams are different as well. similar yes but thats like saying the bc280 cams for the supra made less power than the hks so that must be the case with the bc280s for our cars.

Ill be checking all this tomorrow. i guess i must of left a light on to drain the battery originally. Needs a charge again, the car starts and runs on jumper cables but when you disconnect them it will sputter and die.
Thanks, well the alternator is like a year old and it was damn expensive so im hoping its all well. Ill check all the grounds and such. But like i said, when i but the battery in the last time everything electronic fired up and was working fine, and i connected to the link but once i tried to...
I tried searching and couldnt find anything so here it goes.Car drained teh battery a few days ago so i went and got another. Drove and ran and started fine for a few days. well i went to start it the other day and it wouldnt so i jumped it and ir idled fine for awhile. I went to drive...
ANother possibility is the idle swtich. I know on teh 2g its built into the tps and if it isnt adjusted right it wouldnt engage causing the car to idle erratically. I think its on teh throttle wheel on the 1gs make sure thats all adjusted and so forth. Hooking it up to a datalogger will...
the 2g ssauto fmics aren't that bad but the kits for the 1g suck. The piping routes back over in front of the front mount. Just stick with teh ETS kit, Ive heard good things about them.
I can honestly say that the whole rewiring thing for HIDS is completely wrong. I have a plug and play kit i got from SharpHID.com (actually one of out sponsors) and it bolted right up and worked fine. Only catch was the positive and negative on the control unit plug was backwards form the...
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-parts-feedback-reviews/263823-ebay-xtd-stage-3-clutch-kit.htmlTried it and it literally blew up on me. While i did have a 50 trim it was on low boost without a tune.
honestly the more oem parts used the better. I dont think ive seen the ford isc used ever. Some people leave it off on track cars but for a daily driver id get teh fftec adapter and use that, its worth it.As for the throttle cable, fftec also has the wheel that will bolt onto the tb and...
orange and red
black to green/black
green is for the green and whiteAs for the isc, just buy the adapter plate from fftec and use the oem one which apparently plugs right up :D
I wouldnt be suprised if your car isnt knocking like crazy as it. How much boost are you running? High compression plus hot air and incorrect amounts of fuel will equal one giant party of pain and suffering that occurs everytime your spark plug fires.Get at least a 190 pump and a front...
I might get me one of those and pull it apart first and check the diaphram deal. I had one on my civic and it worked fine, but that was a stock civic and i have a pretty heavily modified dsm.
I had a completely stock 6 bolt, stock heads studs, all that stuff. I have a scm 5031e and a fmic, fuel system, full exhuast etc. You have to have teh supporters obviously to make it work.
I have a set of cams that i had stored for awhile and now they have a few little rust spots on them and i was wondering is there anyway to remove it without having to send it to the machine shop or anything? THanksBrian

I wouldnt trust them, could of fractured them. If you did use them you would have to grind down the dents make sure there are no places a hot spot could form
Thats what im in the process of doing. THe forward facing sucks, just get an air to oil and be done with it, Like i said my oil was black so fast without the cooler and i was running royal purple so its not like i have the crappy on sale non synthetic in there.cliff notes: Yes you can...
ive run the forward facing filter deal and honestly it sucks. oil is black within 500 miles and the oil filter keeps backing off and when i tried to use aq sandwhich plate to put on an oil cooler the forward bracket snapped in half.Brian
I used to daily drive my stock 6 bolt with a bolt up 50 trim and supporters running 20 psi. Loved that turbo, spooled nice and quick and still pulled hard. Upgraded to a 60 trim and never looked back though.Brian
Well the gauge seems to be reading right. If one fell off im sure it would push more than 25. I guess ill have to go through all the lines and see if something melted.
Hey, obviously i have an aem tru boost on my 95 tsi awd. Have it all wired up and was using it with my 35mm tial off the o2 housing and it was running a steady 20 psi. I drove teh car to class and when i got out 2 hours later i went out to my friends and on the way it started boosting up to...
broke it down all the way, nothing left on it. replaced teh seals and gaskets. Im gonna spray carb cleaner on it and see if it will miss at idle because its getting sucked it. Of course i used teh grease.
Hey, long story short i rebuilt my throttle body and now i have a high pitch whistle coming from that area. It goes away when you give the motor a quick rev but when its constant is stays. I also just installed a fiav block off plate. still using the iacv though. Any ideas.Brian
ill second the civic statementAs for me, im running around 21psi daily with 93 and meth and at the track ill up it to around 26 with meth, No tune yet since i just changed my turbo setup through. Runs its ass off and gets me to class on time, thats for sure.
