Also if it was an adjustment issue wouldnt it do it all the time and not only under full throttle situations. I agree the clutch is probably going out.
Hey, My 90 talon done the same exact thing 2 nights ago. I rebuilt my clutch slave cylinder and that didn't fix it so i had a mechanic check it out he said my clutch springs have seized therefore not letting it disengage. so if your problem is the same as mine all you need is a clutch.
It would also help to get the widespray cans. I think most of the plasticote brands have the widespray cans. It will cover more area than a basic aresole paint can.
