Yes the gt spec downpipe will bolt up no problem to n1 downpipe...I will advise to get the megan downpipe and catback tho. I have the n1 downpipe and catback and will be upgradeing to the megan dp and catback... The gt spec downpipe has an entrance of 2.25 where as the megan downpipe has an...
I bought a Pipeing kit from cxracing for 100$ and made my own pipes... Came with great couplers and tbolt clamps... And i still have enough piping to make another UICP And LICP... It was really easy...
This might help... I decided to use 2.5 inch piping on the supra smic since i have a 63mm TB which is 2.48 inches.http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/bolt-tech/304555-1g-tb-what-piping-size.htmlI have 2.5 upper and 2.5 lower...

After searching and some thinking, I think I finally came to a conclusion for a cheap quality U pipe for t25's and t28's... Make it!I was looking at the dejon U pipe and ets U pipe and noticed that there is only one weld for the sharp U pipe.(I prefer to call it a V pipe)...
I have the apexi n1 and it does go under the rear axle. I've had it for 2 years and dont see one sighn of rust. However, i would advise to get the megan cat back/downpipe. I will be upgrading from my apexi ni downpipe and catback to the megan downpipe and catback...
Well there you go. I didnt think there would be enough room to do so.Great point. Maybe not at 15psi, which is the max that most people run on their t25. I would be more concerned if someone was using a t28 and pushing 20+ psi without a bead on the now downfiring turbo.
I personally have the apex downpipe and catback and am seriously thinking of swapping it with the megan system on my gsx. The apex downpipe starts of at 2.25 inches whille the megan downpipe starts at 2.75 inches. The apex catback has a bunch of small angles in the exhaust while the megan...
It took me hours of searching to find the right way to hook up the vacum lines to a 1g tb... Because my car is a 98 it has two ports on the TB, so do the 99's. 97's are the ones with 3 ports on their TB. Heres the link I used to fix my vacume lines. Post 5...
NO, the hks catback will not bolt on to the apexi downpipe...The apex catback comes with a 6 inch adapter (65mm-80mm) that goes between the stock catalytic converter and the apex catback. When you buy the apex downpipe to bolt it on, the apapter is removed there for giving you 80mm throughout...
I have a FP big t-28 matched with 2.5 intercooler pipes to a supra sidemount and it works great! I think its worth to install the supra smic... Heres another link for an instal...http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/turbo-system-tech/302817-supra-smic-install-quick-guide.htmlHeres a link of...
After looking at both the ebay kit and "Punishments kit" it does seem to be the same kit. I think PR's is cheaper because by looking from thieir website they dont include the greddy knockoff bov and the ebay kit does include it...
My next turbo will also be DBB 50 trim... I have thought about PTE DBB 50 trim as well but I figured the fp 3150 DBB 50 trim is the way to go. Although there are only 2 threads on the fp 3150, they both convinced me that the fp 3150 is a superior design although it does cost a bit more... The fp...

Maybe. The 2.5 buschur downpipe goes connected to the stock cat, then the thermal catback...In a later session they removed the stock cat for a straight pipe an gained 28whp and 6 tq....1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T - Power Pages - Import Tuner Magazine
The stock intercooler in and out is 2 inches. I would think the hahn smic in and out would at least be 2.25 or 2.5......The i.d of the rubber lower pipe is 2 inches.Heres my lower 2.5 lower pipe I fabbed up myself. (mkiv sidemount has 2.5 in and 2.5 out)<a...
WOW!! Thats great! A very significant gain in power with less boost...Incredible.I wonder who are the other two big manufacturers of performance SMIM's?What a Mystery... ROFL
The "U bushing" is proubably positioned wrong. Take it apart, the bushing is suppose to fit on the shifter then slide in the the holder...I had the same problem...I also tightend the crap out of the big bolt on the upper right side of the photo...that reduced alot of play...hope that helps
Yes, I also have the t25 wastgate arm and its ported just like yours but the lowest I can get is 14???? I think it has to do with my Megan o2 housng. The Megan recirculted dump does no match perfect with the wastgate exit hole on the turbo...This is what I mean...This gasket...
The fins are fine...none bent or chipped although they did look a lil grey...I guess I need to back down the boost... Im running my boost controller all the way out and the lowest boost i can hit is 14psi... If I run a line straight from the nipple to the wastgate, would that help lower it a psi...
As im pulling of my exhaust manifold to start porting it to a 7cm gasket, i realized it was already port matched to a 7cm gasket and whoever did it decided to make knife edge divider on the collecter... :notgood:There are cracks on the inside of the...
