Up for sale is my 95 AWD talon. Virtually every single powertrain component has been changed/updated. The chassis has 162k rolling miles. The powertrain (motor and transmission) have around 9k Miles on them. There are over $9,000(not including labor) in parts alone in the vehicle ( see attached)...

a moving isc does not mean the valve is functioning. which is why i re described what you already mentioned. and a good/bad isc will always have carbon deposits on it.ps. biss asjutment will not drop engine speed on a surging motor lol

your rings have a knife edge before they are broken in. you need to dig them into the cylinderwall (cross hatch) as much as possible to create the best seal. boost the hell out of the motor and run it hard. a common mistake people do is baby a new motor thinking that the word "break in" means...

sucks man. i had a similar issue when i bought my first dsm. have multiple mechanics look at it( from different shops) and make sure they all come to the same conclusion on paper ( cam caps installed incorrectly) bring these documents to your dick mechanic and tell them that you will use this...

surge is caused by the ecu not getting a steady airflow metering. if the car is at operating temp disconnect the isc and see if fixes the problem. make sure you have no boost leaks ( boost leak test)p.s' an easy way to test your isc without a voltmeter is to remove it from the throttle body...

do a boost leak test to make sure your system is air tight ( vacuum leaks) if everything checks out ( which it sounds like it wont; symptoms sounds like a massive leak; particularly around your intake manifold gasket) look over your cam and crank shaft sensors and make sure the magnets are not...

depends where the battery is placed. a battery placed in the trunk will be fine with a 12 gauge wire. a battery placed in the stock location ( under the hood) will require a 10 gauge wire. look for info on voltage drop and youll see why.
