If you are going to use sheap coilovers, get Koni yellow struts. They are strut inserts you have to installed in the stock or equivilent modified (top cut off) strut body. From experience and also from reading stuff here, the konis are the best "bargain" strut to be used with pretty much any of...
This site is slowly losing its high standard levels. People post nonsense, some moderators arguing and really being sarcastic. Wow.Bless you and thankyou for your attention. My apologies and thanks to the guys who understand and tried to calm me down politely.Hopefully one day...
I have adjustable springs and set the rear a bit higher than the front, about 1.75 inches higher. The springs are stiffer, and that helped eliminate some weight tranfer also. I will get koni yellows all around in about a month). I lower the rear again for regular driving.
Raise the rear, and...
The answer to the kit question is no.
Notice that the two gentlemen who responded have AWD cars and their rear end is quite different from the FWD you have.
Just get an alignment, no kit is needed.
At least I didn't need one, and I've logged almost 75,000 miles with my lowering springs with...
You will have to forgive me for diliking racial streotypes in any form be it games or jokes or otherwise.
I mean c'mon, I don't think sall white guys have 5'' s or less, and that you all smell like garlic.
Get my point?
Oh, you mean a black guy huy?
I'm sure that all carkjackings in america are commited by corn row braided hair black men.
Thankyou for letting the rest of us know what to look out for.Video is cool, definately not filmed in the USA.
Think and choose very carefully.
In todays world, the military career tract has a significantly higher probability of resulting in death or dismemberment.
Also, you must decide what you are willing to give up in terms of personal freedoms and civilian rights, and if you can consent to...
I couldn't find an answer to this question. Instead of starting a new thread, I figuired I would use this one.
My apologies, but what was the eventual conclusion? I have kyb gr-2's and I am getting ready to get Konis for my 1G laser.
(the remove any tight clothing sticker)
  :laugh:1.Take the A/F gauge off the pillar, and put it there to entertain the pasengers.
2. Some sort of emblem
3. DVD display
4. Gosh, I don't know as I have done nothing at all to mine. That sticker from Mach V was great by...
I have these on my 1GA Laser 18x7.5 225/40/18's, but I found some 2g's with them also.
I like them, even though you get no weight savings over stock.
Here are the 2G pics that I found oops, right here in our very own gallery :p
Choose wisley,
Aso, I believe 18or 19x8.5's will fit 2G's with...
Try changing the cap.(I know, but I was a victim once of a faulty cap)1. Most cars steam out of the exhaust when first started and the catalytic converter hasn't heated up.
2. If the cap is bad, bubles will appear in the overflow tank when you first start up.
3. A bad cap will not hold...
Your rings may be bad
Your turbo seals may be bad.
Did you clean the intake tract while you had everything off?(of course you did)
The shop may have installed the seals incorrectly.Good luck
regards
Gawd it sure seemed that way when I was in too.
They will never get rid of all of the f&%kups. You just have to adjust for them. You newbies(boots)(rasins)etc... just watch yourselves as you fight for  GWB.My military bakground still helps me todayand I've been out...
The rear brakes have some sort of racheting mechanism for the emergency brake function. You can rebuild any brake caliper, most autoparts stores will sell you a rebuild kit that includes a new piston boot and seal. If you don't have a manual, get a haynes at least. not the best, but good enough...
Don't worry about it man. Don't take any of that stuff personally. Keep reading and learning. I've done some of that v-faq low tech/buck modding while waiting for money to buy the right stuff for the same kind of result. Most of the "ghetto" mod stuff works up to a point.
Check this out; I put...
The only problem with that is the speed rating of the spare tires. While he won't sustain high speeds for long on the 1/4, it is still a little dangerous maybe?
There is a switch under the dash that is pressed open when you release the brakes. It probably just needs to be adjusted or the plastic pad that is pressed into the brake pedal arm falls out, and the switch does not got opened so your brake lights stay on all of the time.
Oh,
I remember what it was;
You have to thread that hole so you can put a longer screw for the pump gear. The longer screw will seal the hole. I think it is the basically the same screw, but the next standard length up. I am NOT exactly sur what lenght though, so youl have to do some fitting.
Careful, you'll have low oil pressure if you don't do this right. Express a stubby. There used to be a description of the procedure to reuse the original shaft and plugging the shaft in some way was part of it. I don't remember exactly what that procedure was though, I'd recommend getting a...
With a ruler, the marks shouldline up perfectly. You have a problem. You are off by one tooth on a cam. The intake cam will line up with no problem. The crank will line up with no problem. The exhaust cam has to be tie wraped to the timing belt to keep it from moving back one tooth because a...
"Pay no attention to these hypocrites Neo. To deny our own weakness is to deny the very thing that makes us human." :cool:MONEY!!It can be done http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/member.php?&do=vehicledetails&userid=13996 and...
Check the Alternator. had exactly the same thing happen.(cleaning and everything) The battery voltage and current start and run the car fine, then as the fuel pump drains it, the performace sdegrades right in front of youe eyes. Try turning on the light when it starts messing up. If it is the...
take off each spark plug wire one at a time while the engine is running. If the sound goes away with a wire removed, you most likely have a spun connecting rod bearing on that cylinder.
Originally designed by Mitsubishi engineers. Japanese designed.
Therefore the idea or concept was imported.
I guess
But yes, they should be among the best bang for buck vehicles around.
Fun cars
My friend has one done allready. He had to modify the engine and tranny mounting system. I'll ask him today and get back to you.
He is using an eclipse tranny, and mixed match axles. Mirage axles with eclipse ends at the tranny.I'll also get the name of a website that deals with this...
650's would give you a nice buffer zone. In the interest of safety, you could get them. A few sponsors on this site have them for maybe $70 more than 550's. Also, injectors that are not maxed out are less likely to burn the injector drivers(electronic components, transistors, that send voltage...
The money you spend trying to get that thing in there would be better spent on supporting mods.
It looks a little narly. Is it good? What car did you get it from? Do you have supporting mods?(haven't looked at your profile)
Don't put it on just to say you have a big turbo.
Whatever you...
Oh,
Windows 9X-ME need the restoration.
2000 and XP with proper windows updates actually do pretty well.
But in my experience, onlt the earlier versions of windows, (95,98,ME)the DOS based ones, suffer from blue screen.
Your memory may be going bad,
the OS may have issues.
Some in the IT industry say restore the OS every six months to a year especially if you do a lot of internet surfing.
CPU and power supply fans still working?
Any malicious software(virus, worms etc...)?
