No, I wish that was it. I've switched hoods a bunch of times and currently use a Speedglas. I have it set it up as a passive lens hood to try to help, but it doesn't. DC bothers me as well, it just takes longer. 5 minutes welding aluminum and I have a debilitating migraine. Also, it's only my...
Paul is correct. I am focused way more on machined parts nowadays as my eyes have started having adverse reactions to AC welding. The fuel cells are going to go back into production, but will be welded by another fab shop.
Well, I did some research. So first, I snooped to see if you were the same Kris that I talked to today (Kris Whitehorse). Then I checked back through my messages from today. It's really weird to me that someone that's already paid for a product would want to pay for one again, but hey...
What is your name? This has really got me confused. To my knowledge I don't owe a 1g diff cover to anyone, so either I don't, or something seriously slipped through the cracks.
Hmmmmm, if this is the Kris that I'm thinking of, to my knowledge you never paid for anything sir. I made sure not to take your order because I knew I could not get it out at that time. I just spoke to you today actually about the diff cover I have in stock!Jeremy, last time that I talked to...
The t-case braces will be going on a couple other test cars that break t-cases on a regular basis to get abused. Public release will come after I know they work!
Well, qualifying to get $250k, but the odds aren't bad at all because there aren't too too many people with 250 votes. Maybe a few thousand across the country and there are twelve grants handed out. We're at 238 now!
Welding cast is an acquired skill and can only be done well with 2-3 cold passes to draw out the contaminants each followed by cleaning with whatever you see fit. What you really need to do is replace as much of the contaminated junk with good materlal as you can. After that, you can get nice...
The piece of 3" stainless running through olmy's headlight is worth about 42 dollars ;). Not to mention it's powdercoated on top of that. That isn't just your every day PVC Lowes job. I'm glad you're happy with it olmy.
Nice to see the thing running again. Mine is back up and better than ever as well. I plan on coming out to race BOTI at MIR too so I'm sure I'll see you there!
I'm so freakin' confused. What are you talking about "not a 10 sec vid"? Just not really understanding. All the vids that Nate got posted up are on his Facebook. I might be able to link one.
Ahhh, I love this stuff. Just wait for next season guys. I'm pretty sure some minds will be blown. :) And the magical screwed up dyno is a killer. I seem to remember a certain car that came off that dyno making 652awhp and it trapped 156 while blowing the intercooler apart, seems pretty reliable...
Holy crap Batman. This has turned into a good one hasn't it. I'm staying out of it. I like to be the one who walks quietly and carries a big stick :).illegal99si: You gots you a PM!
Wow, my head hurts. Can we get that Hoegaarden now instead of in a month?? I'm pretty sure Tony would agree with me on this one. Now quick, somebody buy my 37R so we can go do some more impossible things!!!! :thumb:
I would rather see you with a set of Mickey Thompson's personally. What kind of brakes are you going with? There aren't many options out there to clear 15's. I have Brakemans which clear but also carry a stupid high price tag. I'd recommend a 24.5x8 MT ET Drag over anything. I'd also say run...
I don't believe there's anyone faster than the 10.60-10.70 area other than my freakshow car that went 10.11 at 136 on the 3052 on PUMP 93 and no nitrous. It's easily, easily possible for the 30r to run deep 10's, you just have to stick with it. With the power your car is making I wouldn't see...
Curt went in the 1.4's on the little guys. My best *recorded* 60ft was a 1.35 and I sure as hell hope a 14b car couldn't beat me to the 60 by a tenth and a half! ROFL
Hopefully it's an 8 sec car. Of course, hell will probably freeze over before this pile of junk runs an 8. LOL It consistently picks up about 37mph in the back half of the track. Now the dilemma is whether or not to run it again before the shootout.
Just like the title says...we had the car at Mason Dixon for a 12-5 test and tune. Car finally pulled a reasonable 60ft after some dialing, 1.40, and went 5.9 at 119 in the 1/8th. Unfortuneately, right at the top of 3rd gear it broke up (out of gas), so I stuffed it in 4th gear and shut it off...
I'd rather run more boost than have a big, laggy pile of useless metal hanging off of the front of my motor. ;) Maybe a little harsh, but anyways... It made just over 700awhp right at 39-40psi. My mindset is, if you're going to put a DBB67 on your car, you should have the motor to run any boost...
