There shouldn't be an issue with a stock maf being used. At least tell people that it will need a different maf for the kit to fit. You don't see ETS kit assuming people will have a certain maf. Kits made for a specific car should fit that car it was made for even though it's completely stock...
instead of buying the big maps (needed something asap). my tuner rescaled the small maps to 240 load and the ignition map. is there something wrong with that? idle is good, wot is good with a max of 2 count of knock max. af is still too rich. didn't finish tuning due to a slipping clutch. don't...
running 1000 pte injectors. put the scaling on dsm iinjector scaling nstead of evo. cold start is at around 11-1 and when warmed up at idle is still around there. stft is at 5%. how do i lean it out? if i do lean it out at idle would it affect the whole powerband? am I set to drive like this...
so when you rescale the ecu for the injectors (850 in my case). basically that's adjusting injector global and deadtime parameters? once that is done. everything else below wot will adjust itself?
"The stock Ignition and Fuel maps are pretty good below WOT, usually very little or no changes need to be made." - ceddySo there is a factory fuel and ignition map for 850cc injectors?I'm pretty new to this.
i'm reflashing my ecu for 850cc injectors and tuning at the same time. my tuner said he will rescale the ecu for those injectors and tune during wot only since the rescaling and something about latency wil lhandle load and part throttle (basically the rest). is that all to it?
anyone has any facts? given the rear diff and added axles plus driveshaft. A 1g gsx should be close to the weight of a 2g FWD GST. Exactly what is i'm curious about.
In my experience there are other kits that fit BETTER than the PR kit. ETS is one of them. Still have to do some customizing but not as bad. I don't know all about anyone else but my time is money. If i have to spend time running around getting extra parts or tools to make something work than to...
my car is getting some parts added on right now and a tune. I hope I can get it back at the end of next week. one i get it back i'll post some more pics.
don't expect to just add on some parts and expect power without some tuning. get dsmlink, you won't need a FPR. I ran without one on the 3 dsm i owned and all 3 hit over 300whp. my a/f ratio was spot on all the way to redline. I ran one with a small 16g (303whp) and the other two with evo3 (one...
was the hid light beam spread out? like it was all over the place instead of being focus like the stock lights? my old HID kit on my 2gb shined everywhere but where I want it. I want it in front of me and on the ground.
my 2 cents. the punishment racing FMIC kit for the 1g is a junk. the time I spent trying to make something fit or relocating the coolant reservoir so it won't look like someone mickey mouse something together is a total waste of my time. I rather pay a little more and get a better kit. to be...
Is this bad for the car? I have a GST and when the turn signal is turned on. I could hear my walbro 190 whine go louder and quieter. Does this mean that my 190walbro isn't functioning to it's full capacity?
I just got those a few weeks ago on my 2gb. really light wheels and a nice alternative to the GSX 2gb wheels which I also like but too small both diameter and width wise. I ran 225/40/18 becuz it's going to be dropped and I don't like rubbing at all.
This is the last set I have.
4 17" 98 Eclipse GSX OEM wheels no tires - 250 plus shipping
local pickup comes with 3 tires on them and I could mount the last one if needed.
you would think a guy has something more to do then waste time and make up fake dyno numbers. you see how he doesn't even reply anymore. moderator should come in and do something about him. this site is to provide helpful information for others to learn from.
I tried to get this damn thing to work. problem is the bov pipe is junk. talked to mike culver over at punishment and he told me
"We shipped over 30 kits from that same batch and I havent heard of any fitment issues, usually it just comes down to things needing to be tweaked a little to get...

there are some problems on the install. first, the bov return hose barely fit back on the bov if it even fits at all. bad location. should positioned it somewhere else. second, coolant reservoir need to be relocated. too bad there's no sturdy place to put it without rigging something up. but...
i'm guessing it could run high 11's, all depends on the headwork, cams, exhaust setup. i've seen what a stock z06 could do, pretty impressive for a american car. stock 09 z06 runs 11's stock.
i hope i wake up early enough for the bbq, what time is it ending?
I have a broken manifold stud (actually a few of them) so I repaired all of them except one. Which was broken inside the head. So I drilled a small hole in the middle of the stud to start extracting it with a extractor. I guess I messed up and drilled to deep and now coolant is leaking out. It's...
same stud that broke on mine. so i decided to drill and extract it out. drilled too deep and now coolant is leaking from it. if i put a new stud with some silicone or teflon would that be ok to stop the leak and be alright to drive on like normal? or second, weld it shut and use the other stud...
